    Growth Marketing Specialist

    Summary

    We're looking for a dynamic Growth Marketing Specialist to join the Donford Group, where you'll be instrumental in fuelling our business expansion. In this role, you'll focus on generating new leads across various digital platforms and maximizing the potential of our existing ones. You'll work closely with our sales teams to ensure our strategies are in sync and to boost our online brand visibility.     Job Summary

    The Growth Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in driving the Group's business growth by generating new leads through diverse digital channels and optimizing the potential of existing leads. This position involves close collaboration with the sales teams of Group companies to align strategies and enhance our digital brand presence. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic insight, creative problem-solving abilities, and hands-on execution skills, enabling them to effectively manage and implement marketing campaigns.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead Generation:

    • Develop and implement initiatives using digital channels to generate new leads.
    • Manage the Google Ads account, either through collaboration with an agency or by executing campaigns independently.
    • Create and manage lead generation campaigns on Facebook.
    • Optimize and experiment with new marketplaces such as AutoTrader and Cars.co.za for lead generation.
    • Test and evaluate additional channels for generating leads.

    Maximize Existing Lead Potential:

    • Utilize in-house data for data mining to identify and deliver high-quality leads for sales outreach, vehicle launches, and other events.
    • Create and manage email campaigns targeting older leads, providing relevant content to keep them engaged.
    • Automate the lead process to ensure that leads are directed to the appropriate person in real-time.

    Collaborate with Sales:

    • Work closely with the sales teams to improve lead supply and quality.
    • Schedule monthly meetings and maintain ongoing communication with the sales team.
    • Report test results and campaign performance, including key KPIs, to Sales Managers and other stakeholders.

    Build the Brand Digitally:

    • Enhance the brand’s digital presence by regularly posting updates on Facebook, including content from our marketing agency.
    • Run and manage Facebook Ads campaigns.
    • Oversee the Donford Group website, conduct A/B tests to improve conversion rates, and ensure the site is optimized for lead generation.
    • Manage incoming communications from leads and customers on our social media channels.

    • Bachelor's or Post Graduate Degree in Marketing or related field preferred

    Essential Skills:

    • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
    • Expertise in data analytics, with the ability to interpret and leverage insights
    • Proficiency in various digital marketing channels
    • Familiarity with website optimization tools and techniques
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
    • Experience with Google AdWords, campaign development, and design aesthetics

    General Sales Manager

    Main purpose of the position:

    The General Sales Manager is fully responsible for managing the sales team, maximizing sales and profitability to achieve targets and sales forecast commitments whilst ensuring customer satisfaction and retention through the execution of the sales process.

    The General Sales Manager sets a strategic sales outlook for the Dealership in collaboration with Dealer Principal, Financial Manager and Shareholders.

    To project the image of an authentic BMW brand ambassador and enact sound people management and development principles.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement and manage the sales department’s strategic and tactical plans to ensure profitability, sustainability, and growth.
    • Motivating and management of your team to achieve set sales targets, procuring stock and management of reconditioning of vehicles and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction whilst maximising profits.
    • Ensure operational effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of sales department operations in a way that exceeds customer expectations and sets the industry benchmark.
    • Responsible for DSP Sales Department budget (in collaboration with DP and Financial Manager).
    • Manage all pre-owned vehicle evaluations, and trade-ins
    • Lead, manage and motivate self & departmental staff to achieve business goals.
    • Attract, retain, appraise, and develop sales staff.
    • Understanding of the used car market and vehicle evaluations.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
    • A Business diploma or equivalent tertiary qualification in Management/Marketing/Sales would be advantageous
    • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in managing successful sales teams within the Premium segment of the automotive retail environment
    • Minimum 7 to 10 years' experience in the automotive sales environment
    • A demonstrable track record of exceeding sales quotas and goals
    • Knowledge of data protection regulations, other industry regulatory bodies and their relevance (CPA, FICA, POPIA, NCA).
    • Working knowledge and experience of sales processes, lead management and online sales principles
    • Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint proficient)
    • Sound knowledge and experience of financial management and budgeting principles/systems.
    • Applicable and valid driver’s license
