    PGCE FET and Senior Phase Lecturer and Programme Coordinator (JB4659)

    • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our Education Department as a PGCE FET and Senior Phase Lecturer and Programme Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the academic management, lecturing, and coordination of the PGCE FET and Senior Phase programme, ensuring compliance with South African regulatory frameworks and maintaining high standards of quality and accreditation.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education, specializing in FET and/or Senior Phase education, or equivalent.
    • A PGCE qualification is an added advantage.
    • Registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
    • At least 5 years of teaching experience in FET and/or Senior Phase education, with experience in academic leadership and programme coordination.
    • Experience in curriculum development and a strong understanding of CHE regulatory frameworks and South African education policies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and coordinate the PGCE FET and Senior Phase programme, ensuring curriculum alignment with CHE and DHET requirements.
