    Production Professional

    Responsibilities

    • Working with a creative team to plan and organize video and film shoots.
    • The ability to translate verbal and written content briefs, conceptualize imaginative assets into creatively appealing solutions.
    • Thorough understanding and application of camera settings including white balance, camera exposure, ISO, focus, lens choices etc.
    • Filming and recording high quality footage by operating video cameras for a variety of sets and/or at remote locations.
    • Working on motion graphics, captions, special effects and animation.
    • Provide professional quality photos (photography and editing)
    • Post-Production and editing on a variety of digital formats.
    • Working as part of a team with an extended production crew on larger productions.
    • Ensuring filming is done in proper lighting, camera(s) with perfect lens choice and audio clarity.
    • Detailed event support with Broadcasts and Audiovisual setups. 
    • Thorough understanding of AV elements a must.
    • Developing and presenting storyboards.
    • Transporting, set up, operate and take down production equipment (cameras, microphones, lighting, props and other equipment).
    • The ability to configure, maintain and troubleshoot video, audio, lighting and other production equipment.
    • Be responsible for completing inventory and maintenance reports.
    • Stay up-to-date on latest development in video technology and production.
    • Following the Church’s style guide and maintaining its visual identity in all production.

    Qualifications

    • Must hold a current / valid Temple recommend and /or be worthy to possess one.
    • Minimum 3 year Diploma / Degree in Film, Broadcasting, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design and / or related fields of study.
    • Minimum 6-8 years of Professional experience accompanied by a portfolio.
    • Video Design, Sound and audio design/engineering, Lighting Design.
    • Expert Proficiency and experience with design tools and technologies mainly the Adobe creative suite: (not limited to) Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Aftereffects.
    • Skilled in Photography, Film, videography and editing 
    • Ability to develop and present storyboards.
    • Being able to work in a team and collaborative environment.
    • Be a team player and also be receptive and humble when receiving counsel.
    • The ability to be patient whilst working in a fast paced environment with very tight deadlines and ability to show calm under pressure.
    • Project Management skills and must be a self-starter

    Senior Temple Construction Project Managers

    Responsibilities

    • Leads the work of other project managers, consultants, contractors, missionaries, and volunteers as needs arise.
    • Plans and Scopes the Construction Project: prepares the project management plans for each assigned construction project. 
    • Prepares a project schedule and develops milestones necessary to successfully complete the projects in concert with the project Contractors.
    • Monitors Project Costs and Budgets: prepare project cost estimates and prepare unit cost reports.
    • Participates in the negotiation and preparation of project subcontracts.
    • Manages project materials and equipment procurement within the project's budget constraints and consistent with the project delivery schedule.
    • Negotiates Contractor and subcontractor change orders and manages the resulting cost and impact.
    • Participates in monthly job cost reviews to declare project status.
    • Ensures that the onsite work activities and completed product complies with the project specifications and Church standards: acts as the communication link between the Church, management, local governments, architects, general contractor.
    • Interacts with other Church departments to ensure policy and procedures are carried out and approved objectives are achieved.
    • Participates in obtaining permits and resolving other regulatory requirements as necessary.
    • Organizes and conducts pre-award and pre-construction meetings.
    • Assists Project Team personnel as requested.
    • Develops and monitors project quality, safety, and risk management plans.
    • Attends and documents owner's Team, OAC, and other coordination meetings.
    • Ensures that the project is completed in conformance with construction documents and requirements.
    • Coordinates all final close out procedures for the project including as-built drawings, close out, letter of substantial completion, warranty process, and letter of recommendation.
    • Develops, maintains, and evaluates monthly, quarterly, and annual property performancereports.
    • Analyses project information to continuously seek ways to meet standards of performance.

    Qualifications

    • Must hold a current/ valid temple recommend and be worthy to hold one.
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
    • Minimum of 8 years professional experience in the construction or building engineering and design industry.
    • Minimum of 5 years professional project management experience and a successful track record for managing a project from conceptual planning to completion.
    • Ability to lead or mentor others.
    • Has an in-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes and construction laws and practices, which includes understanding building codes, design plans, construction drawings, and specifications for a given project.
    • Understands project estimating concepts to the level required to verify bids, to understand market rates, and to understand how to process change orders, etc.
    • Understands contractual language and concepts and how to negotiate to protect the Church's interests while providing quality service to department customers.
    • Demonstrates the ability to professionally present self through in-person interactions and verbal and written communications.
    • Understands Software programs like Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD etc.
    • Must be willing to travel.

    Real Estate Intern

    Responsibilities

    • Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on department and need. The Intern receives assignments from supervising staff. The Manager reviews the Intern's work occasionally. The supervisor reviews each assignment as it is completed.
    • The Intern is expected to meet rigid and challenging deadlines, work in harmony with other people, take direction on each assignment, and give full attention to detail.     Qualifications

    • The Intern is assigned to the Real Estate team, reporting to the Real Estate Manager. 
    • 60% - Obtain and process transactional reports (e.g. surveys, appraisals, professional engineering reports, legal and title documents), assist in problem resolution to facilitate the timely management of various real estate processes, prepare legal transaction documents, assemble feasibility and due diligence studies and reports in preparation to obtain internal approvals and submit to closing, interface with internal customers (Directors, DTA’s, Managers) professional consultants (attorneys, engineers, architects, administrators).
    • 20% - Receive and logs customer work orders, prepare project files and track real estate processes, maintain data tracking systems, monitor deadlines and document performance commitments, monitors and prints monthly progress reports.  
    • 10% - Prepare and process documentation for Appropriation Committee approval, obtains from authorized Church agents and other parties prerequisite signatures and prepare and process closing packages. 
    • 10% - Respond professionally, courteously, and accurately to enquiries from management, customers and consultants. 
    • Takes direction from REM, REPM 1, 2 and 3. 
    • Administers payments and travel co-ordination for the Real Estate Project Manager. 
    • Provide any related services as required by his employer, Real Estate Manager and Real Estate Project Manager.

    Project Management Intern

    • Intern for the AEC Division team which includes the Area Architect, Project Managers and the Area AEC Manager.
    • Manage subcontractor selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and payment processing. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain positive subcontractor relationships.
