    Assistant Magazine Master

    Description

    • Weed Control
    • Correctness of Magazine registers to physical stock; use correct color pens for booking in and out.
    • Magazine licenses available and not exceeded
    • Availability of stocks, internal and external
    • Maintain minimum stock levels
    • Production Planning
    • Loading Errors
    • Balance Physical vs SAP
    • Old Product – regular rework and management of old product
    • Three-way check of delivery notes, delivery note vs freight summary vs customer order vs available stock done by three individuals
    • General appearance of delivery notes
    • Full Order On Time
    • Manage work attendance
    • Manage overtime to not exceed prescribed hours
    • Performance Management
    • Make sure safety takes priority in all day-to-day activities
    • Manage security of magazines
    • Ensure subordinates always wear applicable PPE
    • Ensure SOX compliance reports are completed
    • Real-time stock movement on SAP

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 (Must)
    • Magazine Master Certificate CIE (Must)
    • Driver’s License (Must)
    • Minimum 1+ years of Magazine experience (Must)

    Magazine Master

    Description

    Ensuring that final product is managed responsibly within the requirements of the Chief Inspector of Explosives by adhering to Chapter 8 of the explosives act.

    • Managing the magazine personnel in the movement of product in and out of explosives magazines to fulfil customer requirements. 
    • Coordinating and managing magazine compliance.
    • Weed Control.

    • Magazine license's available and not exceeded.

    Artisan Diesel Mechanic

    Description

    • Fault-finding on mechanical and auto electrical.
    • Fault-finding on air brakes.
    • Fault-finding on drive trains.
    • Handle mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
    • Hydraulic fault-finding and maintenance.
    • Preventative maintenance.
    • Daily liaison with maintenance personnel regarding equipment & spares at mines.
    • Assist in technical investigations.
    • Identification of defects and reporting to supervisor.
    • Manage of safety issues.
    • Order spares required from the stores and for maintenance.
    • Ensure that all safety aspects at workplace are adhered to.
    • Maintains of explosive plants and trucks.
    • Provide input on continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Share and implement best practices.
    • Adhere to all safety and work standards.
    • Adhere to all legal requirements.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 / N3 with Math and Science.
    • Accredited Trade Test certificate in Diesel Mechanic.
    • Code 11/14 driver’s license.
    • Experience in the mining environment (Advantageous).
    • Medically fit.
    • Sound mechanical knowledge.
    • Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.

    Electrical Maintenance Operator

    Description

    • An electrical maintenance operator supports production by providing effective equipment maintenance and reliability while adhering to procedures/codes and utilizing all available support resources to increase stability and maintain sustainability of the plant.

    Functional outputs:

    • Execution of tasks associated with maintenance inspections and strategies.
    • Be able to perform all electrical maintenance operator functions related to chemical plant and maintenance, operations support and fault finding.
    • Be able to assist with modifications/upgrades on existing systems.
    • Ability to scope and execute small tasks.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, for small power.
    • Perform Electrical IMS inspections (SHERQ).
    • Adhere to compliance to the MOC process for changes to existing plant and equipment.
    • Data extraction and analysis (fault finding, etc.).
    • Have a practical understanding of EX and hazardous area classifications.
    • Attend to outages planning and execution experience.
    • Ensure full compliance to section 14 of the OHS act.
    • Ensure full compliance to Enaex task risk assessments, work instructions and working procedures.
    • Perform installation, testing and commissioning new/repaired electrical installations in accordance with Enaex specifications.
    • Proactive identification and correction of defects and preventative maintenance.
    • Support artisans and other disciplines.
    • Participation in housekeeping.

    Requirements

    • Matric with Maths, Science and English or N3 and Business English.
    • Driver’s license (code 08).
    • Computer literate.
    • Have a working understanding of the electrical installation regulations (OHS act).
