    Sales Representative - Cape Town

    Main Purpose of The Role:

    Sell the services and solutions for the company.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and grow a strong client base.
    • Find new business opportunities 
    • Maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals
    • Respond to new and current client base regarding complaints and service enquiries
    • Be a brand ambassador that represents the company’s brand and values
    • Demonstrates advanced product knowledge

    Receptionist - Kempton Park

    MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    Operate telephone system to answer all incoming calls, screens where necessary and directs callers to appropriate personnel 
    Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival while making sure that the correct security measures are followed.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Answer all incoming calls within the 1st 3 rings, obtain the purpose of the call and transfer to the relevant department/person.
    • Booking of boardrooms and updating calenders. (Including refreshment requirements and/or setup)
    • Daily IVR checks across all branches.
    • Reporting of any issues picked up on IVR or phone lines.
    • Receive, sort and distribute internal mail.
    • Screening of management calls/escalations and transfer to the appropriate area/person.
    • Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. 
    • Maintains security by following procedures; ensuring that the visitors register is completed correctly

    OTHER DUTIES

    • Performs other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating as and when required.

    Job-related Requirements

    Project Manager, Projects, Air & Sea - Kempton Park

    Main Purpose of the Role:

    The main role is to manage all the various moves globally (Air, Sea & Road) for a specific Project, from the contract negotiation all the way to close-out.

    This role directly supports company objectives and contributes to identifying, analyzing & developing value-adding and robust solutions.
    Successful collaboration with Operations team & other internal stakeholders is critical.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Intermediate Computer Literacy level in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Grade 12
    • 5 years Sea freight & Airfreight experience
    • Road freight experience will be an advantage.
    • Proper project management experience movement of at least 3 years.
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in FFW industry. 
    • 2 years’ experience on CargoWise 1, or similar Customs program
    • Africa experience and knowledge of the various documents is a huge advantage.
    • Knowledge of Forwarding, logistics and clearing processes

    Job-Related Requirements

    • Logistics & Supply Chain experience:  Minimum seven years or more
    • Operational Management experience:  > 3 years in logistics environment;
    • Facilitation skills: > 2 years effective experience in leading & influencing a diverse group through training and/or problem-solving activities for effective outcomes;

    • Manage global shipments to complete a project.
    • Opening accounts as required in the DSV network
    • Work out the profitability of the shipment/project
    • Ensure timely billing and cost recovery on each shipment and the entire project

    Operations, Vendors, Air & Sea - Kempton Park

    Main purpose of role

    Vendor Clerk is responsible for posting of invoices based on what is applicable according to CargoWise One. Ability to critically analyze common faults made by Operations and report on same. To deductively analyze auto post queries and apply knowledge to ensure auto post percentage is increased per branch allocated.

    Duties and requirements

    • Action queries received in Webcost and liaising with the respective Controllers
    • Management of queries and escalation process within Operations
    • Ensure correct credit request/dispute processes are followed by Operations
    • Accurate and on time reporting
    • Maintain and build good relationships with Shared Services and Business
    • Perform root cause analysis and put in place corrective action to achieve high auto post %
    • Ensure that all tasks are done as per DSV policies, both local and global, at all times
    • Perform any ad-hoc duties as required by immediate supervisor or management

    Minimum Requirements

    • 1 Year Cost Match Experience and/or
    • 1 year creditors experience and/or
    • 1 year experience in an operation finance role
