    Travel & Events Officer - Johannesburg

    Job Description

    We are looking for a Travel & Events Officer to support the Operations Department by providing assistance to the Travel & Events Specialist. To effectively arrange all travel requirements both locally and internationally, in addition to securing and coordinating all events requirements in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Funders and Executives. This role will also assist in manage the day-to-day administrative function within the operations department and provide direct ad hoc support to the Executives.

    Travel & Events

    • Assisting in the day-to-day activities of the Travel & Events operations.
    • Performing administrative tasks, such as data entry, mail distribution, and document preparation.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries with travellers.
    • Assist travellers with travel visas, passports, and other travel documents.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements such as flights, hotels, and cars.
    • Coordinate transportation and airport transfers for travellers.
    • Process expense claims and per diems.
    • Handle administrative duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and responding to emails.
    • Research new vendors and travel options.
    • Provide excellent customer service and maintain relationships with vendors and key stakeholders.
    • Handling customer inquiries and complaints and escalating them as necessary.
    • Updating and keeping records of Travel & Events activities for reporting purposes.
    • Providing user assistance on Travel & Events digital platform.
    • Acting as second-in-command to the Travel & Events Specialist and taking care of all duties in their absence.
    • Analysing all operations and forwarding suggestions for improvement to the Travel & Events Specialist.
    • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

    Fleet

    • Provide cover for the Fleet & Insurance Manager in their absence.
    • Manage internal transport bookings.
    • Ensure that vehicle logbooks are completed at all times.
    • Attend to any fleet related requests in the Fleet Managers absence.
    • Co-ordinate and oversea the activities of the Office Driver during the Fleet Managers absence.
    • Manage the relationship and activities of external fleet service providers during the Fleet Manager absence. 

    Administration

    • Attend to any other ad hoc duties assigned to by the Travel & Events Specialist, Head of Business Operations and the Executives.
    • Provide for all catering needs for Management/Executive meetings.
    • Keep records of travel & Events related activates such as training workshops and conferences by Anova staff and submit to HR.

    Any other tasks as agreed with line manager.

    Minimum qualifications and experience

    • Qualification in hospitality management, tourism, public relations or relevant field is preferred

    Project Manager - Bellville

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage and coordinate all ANOVA Health Institute- programme activities and implementation management at assigned district/sub- district level/nodes.
    • Develop and maintain key relationships (liaison) with relevant government department and staff, and other stakeholders with a view of joint problem solving and addressing challenges.
    • Collaborate with DOH facilities to implement the COPC policy in all nodes.
    • Support the development & implementation of the project in healthcare facilities, communities, schools, DOH and ANOVA workplan.
    • Produce a list of strategic partners and stakeholders that are directly linked with programme goals and objectives, constantly work with the various stakeholders to strengthen linkage, and improve outcomes.
    • Report project findings to internal and external stakeholders in aid of programme advocacy.
    • Manage a diverse team of staff in conjunction with other line managers to ensure efficient project delivery.
    • Arrange daily, weekly, monthly meetings with staff and all relevant stakeholders
    • Implementation of project as prescribed by DOH SLA
    • Monitor outputs in comparison with DOH targets.
    • Advise and give input on QIP’s.

    Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

    • A degree or diploma qualification as a Professional Nurse
    • Registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council
    • Minimum years: 5 - 7 in public health/social development and demonstrated expertise in community care and HIV/AIDS.
    • 5 years’ experience proven track record in leading and managing NGOs/NPOs teams and development programs.
    • 5 years’ experience as a manager or team supervisor delivering primary healthcare services including HIV/TB/S2TI, home based care, etc.
    • In-depth understanding of programme issues and policy work at local and district level.
    • Demonstrated ability in writing and presenting programs.
    • In-depth knowledge of the Western Cape Department of Health community programme, programme rules and regulations and reporting requirements.
    • Experience with budget development and implementation of quality control.
    • Valid Driver's Licence
    • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.

    Community Coordinator - Guguletu

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Community Coordinator to contribute to the organizational and funder goals through professional leadership of comprehensive community services with overall strategic integration, program coordination, and health care improvements of the district/sub‐district/nodes in line with allocated budget and project goals and protocols. The community support coordinator will work in collaboration with the programme OTLs by providing administrative and coordination support to the programme. This includes the management of the programme OTLs.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage and coordinate all ANOVA Health Institute- programme activities and implementation management at assigned district/sub- district level/nodes. 
    • Develop and maintain key relationships (liaison) with relevant government department and staff, and other stakeholders with a view of joint problem solving and addressing challenges. 
    • Support the OTL’s with their workplans and the workplans of CHWs monitoring community activities and maintaining a calendar of events to promote awareness of the organization’s mission. 
    • Assist OTL’s with the arrangement of community/stakeholder/ward council meetings – Re: COPC approach & MDT at facilities. 
    • Facilitate training, coaching and mentorship of the OTLs for improved programmatic outcomes. 
    • Use the data for decision-making so that OTLs can be made aware of shortfalls and to identify best practices for learning. 
    • Analyse and report on the success of events and marketing initiatives, making recommendations for future improvements. 
    • Implementation of review and analytic controls for critical programme data, identifying bottlenecks and instituting timely corrective actions together with relevant 
    • Provide accurate and regular situation/progress reports to management. 
    • Reports must be submitted at required due dates for the allocated sub-districts and/or relevant sites. 
    • Supervision of administrative staff and their work output as well as monitor the quality of work. 
    • Support recruitment of qualified technical staff to implement work plan activities effectively. 
    • Ensure that all OTLs are inducted on all the Anova policies and procedures and offer refresher training (in collaboration with HR). Where needed, monitor routinely that policies are being implemented.  
    • Document best practices and replicate them where possible. 
    • Arrange routine bi-monthly meetings per sub-district to review performance and to address operational challenges (with M&E). 
    • Develop and manage quality assurance system/s ensuring that all Anova and provincial health care protocols are adhered to. Facilitate multi-disciplinary staff meetings to ensure synergy among programme components. 
    • Ensure that proper inventory system is in place and being implemented. 
    • Develop systems and professional standards including aligning to government standards ensuring the continuum of care. 
    • Have a good understanding of the routine monthly reporting tools.

    Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

    • Nursing/Health or an equivalent management qualification from an accredited college or university and/or relevant experience. 
    • Prior experience in community outreach, event planning, or customer service.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Drivers Licence and own vehicle 
    • Computer Literate – MS Office 
    • Fully vaccinated against Covid -19

    Monitoring & Evaluation Manager - Cape Town

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee routine reporting into DATIM and support District Management teams to produce data quality narratives
    • Promote the use of data at various levels of programme implementation based on identified indicators
    • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly data quality audits (DQAs) of reported data in conjunction with program managers, district technical support and M&E officers
    • Maintenance of standard health data information systems (HIS) such as TIER.Net, PHCIS, Prehmis, etc. across all Anova supported sites

    Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

    • A bachelors degree would be advantageous
    • More than 4 years training or work experience in either: monitoring & evaluation, computer science, information systems, data management science, public health, health informatics, statistics/mathematics
    • At least 5 years of experience with Health Indicators, M&E, Data quality and reporting to DOH or PEPFAR
    • Experience with DHIS, Health Systems, ETR.NET, DATIM and health indicators
    • Experience in M&E Capacity building for facility level data capturing teams
    • A valid Driver's License
    • Outstanding communication skills and report writing skills
    • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

    Clinical Nurse Practitioner NTSS Permanent

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • To champion all ANOVA 90-90-90 activities and oversee ANOVA staff at facilities (lead facility meetings and data review, monitor attendance and liaise between ANOVA and the facility)
    • Work with the outreach teams to get referrals and to initiate ART for eligible HIV infected clients including PrEP and attend MDT to support community recalls
    • Provide follow up care for patients on treatment in line with DoH HIV Management guidelines as well as Anova work plan and Facility 90-90-90 plans
    • Routinely monitor performance & registers of (TB/HIV/STI) programmes at facility level and provide mentorship & technical support where required

    • Clinical Assessment Treatment & Care (PHC Nurse Clinician)
    • Registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council
    • NIMART trained (western cape) and certified as competent to work independently
    • NIMART mentor certificate would be advantageous
    • At least 4 years’ experience in working at a clinic (PHC or CHC) facility
    • At least 2 years NIMART experience
    • Familiar with latest HIV Management, PrEP, STI and TB and guidelines
