    Finance Analyst

    Purpose of the Job

    • Perform data administration and capturing for Vendor onboarding to ensure they are registered on the system with established established guidelines and Service Level Agreements (SLA).

    BI Specialist

    Purpose of the Job

    • To support strategic and operational decision-making by providing stakeholders with data and information intelligence and actionable insight that facilitates business performance and competitive advantage.

    Who You Are:

    •     You are highly creative and collaborative. 
    •     An ideal candidate would be expected to collaborate with both the business and IT teams to define the business problem, refine the requirements, and design and develop data deliverables accordingly. 
    • You will be required to have regular discussions with data consumers on optimally refining the data pipelines developed in nonproduction environments and deploying them in production.
    •     You have built and managed data pipelines for data structures encompassing data transformation, data models, schemas, metadata and workload management.
    •     You have proven knowledge to ingest, transform and provision data across various sources into an organized and unified view.
    •     You are passionate about data and have the ability to generate insights from information.
    •     You have good SAP BW, Hana and/or SAP Business Objects development skills.
    •     You have SAP Finance Domain knowledge and have experience developing planning solutions using SAP BPC.
    •     You have a reputation for your innovative manners to make business and decision-making processes more efficient.

    What you’ll have done before:
    Baseline:

    •     NQF level 7 (Degree or Diploma in Information Systems or Business Science or Commerce.
    •     5 years successful BI and ETL implementations of which 
    • 5    Years in SAP BW on Hana / BW/4Hana and 3 years BI implementation experience in SAP Business Objects and / or SAP Analytics Cloud
    •     Candidate must also have 3 years BW implementation experience in the SAP Finance Domain 
    •     2 Years SAP BPC embedded knowledge.
    • Advantageous:
    •     Honours degree or Post Graduate Diploma (statistics, Data Science)
    •     SAP BI certification
    •     SAP functional module knowledge
    •     BW/4Hana & SAP Analytics Cloud implementation experience.

    •     The candidate would be required to work after hours and weekend (on an occasional basis) for maintenance outages, period end and support.
    •     The candidate would need to support the financial year end processes that pertains to data warehouse requirements activities and requirements.

    What you’ll be doing:
    BI SYSTEMS SUPPORT

    •     Provide and support of all BI systems and solutions that meet business needs for daily, monthly and annual financial reporting. Application of upgrades, patching, monitoring and tuning thus ensuring that all systems meet the agreed business requirements and SLA's.

    BI CONSULTING, DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION

    •     Develop and implement BI systems and solutions; MIS, decision support, business reports, scorecards, and dashboards that meet defined business requirements by means of the systems development lifecycle and appropriate project methodology (Agile or Waterfall) to time, cost and quality requirements for the business.

    BI DATA MODELLING & ANALYSIS

    •     Provide BI data sourcing, data modelling, ETL, information and predictive analysis and support to the business by providing data analytics, data mining, data science and business and information insight that aid in revenue generation, cost management and business decision making.

    PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

    •     Identify opportunities for IT process and system improvement through the continuous review of the current as-is environment and removing wasteful and unnecessary activities thus ensuring that all systems and processes are running optimally.

    Plant Supervisor

    Purpose of the Job

    • To manage and supervise operations in a cost-effective, safe environment in support of Engen objectives and optimisation of profit opportunities, in a safe and compliant manner

    • Experience in HSEQ MS system
    • Knowledge of OSH Act, ISO 9002 & SABS

    Advantageous: 

    • Plant Supervisory experience
    • SAP knowledge and experience

    • Engagement with the rest of the Supply Chain

    • Ensure that receipt, storage and handling is done according to prescribed procedure and standards
    • Distribute products to customers as per agreed SLA's
    • Ensure maximum economical fleet utilization
    • Ensure effective management of assets through optimal utilisation and maintenance as required
    • Ensure that all quality standards and procedures are met as required to ensure compliance and governance
    • Manage team and ensure capability development and performance by means of identifying relevant training programs to close the skills gaps and through performance management processes
    • Ensure that safety standards are maintained in operational area by staff, contractrs and service providers
    • Contribute to investigations and audits
