    Marketing Consultant - Bank

    Key purpose

    • The Marketing Consultant is a member of a high-performance marketing team that partners with the Discovery Bank business to implement marketing solutions and contributes to the delivery of digital and marketing communications for Discovery Bank.
    • The Marketing Consultant will be responsible for running projects, using digital and marketing best practice and leveraging internal and agency relationships, to deliver within budget. In addition, the Marketing Consultant will provide support on digital marketing projects and integrated marketing campaigns, digital lead generation efforts and provide specialist marketing advice to stakeholders.

    Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to

    • Being creative. Solve business needs, create integrated, best practice and creative solutions that are in line with the Discovery marketing model – and are consistent across all brands, businesses, and communities, and ensuring that consistent, relevant messages are being given.
    • Working across teams. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including senior businesspeople and cross-departmental teams, to help achieve company and business unit objectives.
    • Building relationships. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key businesspeople, both at a strategic and operational level.

    Systems Architect

    Key Purpose

    • Define the systems architecture, standards, and methodologies in accordance with industry best practices. Ensure the good functioning of the System Architecting Process. Serve as the high-level designer of the systems to be implemented. Establish the basic structure of the system, defining the essential core design features and elements that provide the framework for all that follows. Provide the architects view of the users' vision for what the system needs to be and do, and the paths along which it must be able to evolve, and strive to maintain the integrity of that vision as it evolves during detailed design and implementation.

    Senior Technology Trainer

    Key Purpose

    • The role of the Technology Trainer (Senior) will work closely with our passionate Snr Developers and System Architects to develop and impart technical training with primary focus on Java technologies. The level of training will range from introductory to advanced. It will include learners from Graduate up to Snr Developers. In parallel to the training activities there will always be at least one technology research topic that will enable organizational technology innovation. The role requires a SME who understands and can apply the fundamentals of SOA and microservice architectures, demonstrable understanding of OO principles and methodologies.     Administrator

    Key Purpose of the role

    • The position is responsible for the day to day administration of Umbrella Fund Operations, within the Retirement Funds business unit. This is a core administration function, and the incumbent would be required to holistically manage and index incoming tasks related to Retirement Fund disciplines, for example member and employer enquiries, monthly contribution, claim, investment option, individual transfer in, section 14, section 28 processes. The incumbent must ensure that processes and procedures are implemented, maintained, and improved. The incumbent needs to ensure operational activity is conducted within regulatory frameworks, accurately, effectively, and efficiently. The incumbent must ensure that he/she has the knowledge, skills, tools, and competencies required to perform the required job within service level agreements.
