    Account Executive

    Purpose Statement

    • To provide a proactive business banking sales and service management function that will retain and grow a portfolio of business clients by identifying and implementing value adding and specialised business banking financial products solutions from a range of standard and/or customized offerings.

    Experience
    Minimum:

    • Banking experience of at least 5 years, of which 3 years should have been spent in the Business Banking environment.
    • Experience of managing a complex portfolio of business customers with a service and financial analysis focus.
    • Holding responsibility for client relationship management of high value clients with varied and complex needs
    • Significant experience in preparing and motivating Credit applications 
    • Cost control and sales management 

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management or Finance
    • Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Finance

    Knowledge
    Minimum:

    • Principles and practices of business economics and the current business economic environment. 
    • Advanced customer relationship management (CRM) principles and techniques, esp.  projecting credibility, gravitas and presence in the context of business (client) stakeholders. 
    • Different industry sectors and sector risk profiles/ trends; including an understanding of the impact of external (economic, political, legislative, climatic) conditions on specific industries/ markets in the portfolio 
    • Local market (LM) sales principles and practices to manage and optimise retention and growth within the portfolio. 
    • General banking practices and procedures. 
    • Knowledge of competitor product offerings/ channels/ operational and marketing tactics. 
    • Credit principles and practices, including an understanding of credit application, securities 
    • Legal entities (companies, close corporations, sole proprietorships etc.) in the commercial market and the legislative restrictions and requirements governing these from a financial services perspective. 
    • Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) and the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA). 
    • Able to extract, analyse and apply CRM insights to influence the client management approach and strategy 
    • General understanding of how Business Banking operates, as well as understanding the business risks, industry risks and financial requirements pertaining to the business market

    Ideal:

    • Features, benefits and value propositions of the respective company product/service offerings. 
    • Multi-level products available and pricing structures
    • Current taxation laws as they apply to customers. 
    • A good knowledge of administration processes and procedures pertaining to Business Banking transactions
    • Financial Modelling; activity based costing, financial analysis (evaluating and identifying trends), complex cash flow cycles (industry/ sector specific)

    Purpose Statement

    • Responsible for the writing and coding of individual programs for Capitec Bank Front-End applications according to specifications.

     
    Experience

    • 3- 5 years’ proven experience in software development
    • Experience in the following development languages:

    • SQL 2005 and higher
    • .Net (C#)
    • Implementation of MVVM or MVC design patterns
    • WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)
    • WCF (Windows Communication Foundation)
    • XAML

    Manager: Talent Acquisition (Technology and Data Services)

    Purpose Statement

    • The Capitec Human Resources department is looking for a Manager | Talent Acquisition to join our team to provide insight and input to the Capitec Talent Acquisition strategy to underpin, enable and deliver to the organizational strategy.

     

    We are looking for an experienced leader who will take on the responsibility for the:

    • Overall management and end-to-end delivery of Capitec’s Shared Services talent acquisition requirements with specific focus on our Technology and Data divisions
    • Reporting on acquisition as per the approved headcount budget inclusive of consultation, planning, execution, and management
    • Internal client and vendor relationship management across all levels of leadership
    • Leading and developing high performing, delivery orientated teams
    • Participating and influencing in the Capitec Talent Acquisition strategy and evolution as a member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership team and being an impactful HR leader within the broader HR Community

    Experience

    • 8 + years’ proven experience in a Talent Acquisition and/or HR role, of which at least 3 years in a Talent Acquisition leadership role

     

    •  Proven experience in leading Talent Acquisition / HR for Technology (IT) & Data functions within anorganisation
    •  Proven client facing experience at executive level, in a fast paced, growing organisation
    •  Proven experience in crafting a delivery action plan for your client area
    •  Proven experience in delivering to measurable goals in a competitive environment
    •  Knowledge of best practice HR processes and procedures
    •  Knowledge of relevant legislation, i.e., LRA, Employment Equity Act
    •  Proven experience of using influence and relationships to drive and achieve objectives
    •  Proven experiencing managing and delivering strategic projects and/or initiatives

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • Grade 12 National Certificate
    • A relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Psychology, Industrial/Organisational Psychology or relevant Business Degree

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    • A relevant post-graduate qualification in Psychology or Industrial/Organisational Psychology
    • Qualified Psychometrist/Psychologist registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
