A vacancy has arisen for a Customer Relationship Consultant in our KZN business based in Pinetown Preference will be given to suitable applicants in line with the Company Normalisation Policy.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The purpose of the role is to enhance, extend and retain the Company’s/Division’s business through representing the company to existing clients and to achieve predetermined retention targets. Coordination and consolidation of retention feedback from role players in the business.
- Achievement or improvement of retention budgets & growth rate
- Account Manage a number allocated customers for the region and or division
- Maintain complete records of all activities regarding the customer - creating a relevant and historic database
- Make every effort to encourage our existing client base to retain our services by building and maintaining professional client relationships
- Adherence to Company and Divisional standards in terms of hours of work, minimum performance standards, reporting, completion of relevant documentation, use of company assets and policies
- Flag losses/reductions received
- Notify Service Planners and Regional Key Accounts Manager of all handovers, liquidations and closures immediately
- Weekly reporting of terminations to Regional Key Accounts Manager
- Compliance to and use of the CRC retention process flow with the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly responsibilities as confirmed therein.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & CRITICAL EXPERIENCE
- Matric
- Tertiary Qualification an advantage
- Min 5 Years Key Account Management Experience (Non Negotiable)
- Minimum 5 Years in field selling experience
- Proven existing target VS actual achievement
- Minimum 12 months of proven experience in a similar role
- Computer literacy – MS Office, Windows, Internet tools Google Suite
- Drivers License (code 8)

- Assisting with procurement related activities,
- Maintaining procurement related databases,
- Assisting with onboarding new vendors,
- Assisting with reviewing of vendor compliance,
- Assisting with inventory data analytics and reporting,
- Assisting with vehicle fleet data analytics and reporting,

- Key Outputs and Accountability
Maintaining databases:
- Maintain contracts repository
- Maintain Vendor BEE database

Vendor Compliance:
- Review vendor terms and pricing for compliance

- Assisting with competitive bidding compliance in line with procurement policy
New vendors
- Assist internal customers with onboarding new vendors
- Review compliance to procurement policy
Data analytics and reporting
- Compile monthly supplier reports, order days vs. delivery days, open PO’s, price variances
- Stock on hand reporting
- Supplier pricing analysis
- Track payment terms
- Monthly transport costs analysis of logistics service providers
- Vehicle Fleet data analytics and reporting
General office support
- Assist the Import & Export process
- Assist and support domestic logistics requirements
- Reconcile monthly import & export costs
- Assist with ad hoc procurement and supply chain projects
Stock management
- Assist with monthly stock counts
- Review monthly branch stock counts
- Assist with closing all branch stock count variances

- Sound understanding of logistics & distribution
- Sound Import & Export acumen
- Sound understanding of warehouse processes
Other requirements – Own vehicle and valid drivers licence
