Job Description:
As the Boilermaker you will be required to provide engineering technical service to an underground area.
Your responsibilities include and not limited:
Attending to Breakdowns and emergencies as required
Execute underground and surface projects
Conducts and participate in Risk assessments
Attend and conduct Safety meeting
Ensuring that material, spares and equipment are available as required
Completing job cards and description of work and spares used (PM’s)
Record results of all legal examinations in the appropriate format
Qualifications:
Grade 12 or Technical Trade Specific N2
Certified Competent as Boilermaker or Boilermaker Trade Certificate (Section 13 or 26D)
Additional information:
Must be able to do standby and overtime
Valid driving license code 08

Job Description:
The Mine Overseer has the Legal accountability with a 2.14.1 and a 2.13.12 appointment in terms of the MHSA section 26 of 1996.
You will ensure that a dedicated section of the operational process operates effectively from a current and future best practice perspective, with a time frame of 1-2 years.
The focus areas for this role will be to manage and co-ordinate the following:
Manage and plan for the development & provision of mining work practices, structures and services, which will contribute to the overall safety, health, and sustained profitability of the Operational Area.
Mining process planning, preparing and breaking predetermined blocks of ground, efficiently and safely.
Review and introduce mining best practices to enhance performance efficiencies over long term.
Negotiate with Engineering Department – source and supply determined material to operations.
Alignment of operational performances both in stope and development to the overall Operational Area plans contribute to the effective management of the Operational Area.
This role is in the Mining department at a Band 6 level reporting to the Section Manager.
Qualifications:
Grade 12
Mine Overseer Certificate is a requirement.
Blasting Certificate is a requirement.
Advantageous: Mine managers certificate.
Knowledge & Skills:
At least 3 - 5 years mining experience in conventional deep level UG mining in a similar position.

Job Description:
The purpose of Projects Systems Specialist is to enable the delivery of business processes, communication, collaboration and knowledge management through the deployment, support and maintenance of enterprise technology, infrastructure, applications and mine technical systems.
Own the IM enablement of the Capital and Stay-in-Business Projects strategy
Analyse business partner’s operation to determine opportunities to streamline or automate processes and functions
Assist in the business process redesign
Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IM organisation and manages changes to such specifications. Demonstrate commercial awareness.
Develop project plans and teamwork assignments, direct and monitor work efforts on a daily basis, identify resource needs, perform quality review; and escalate functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately
Coordinate communication with all areas of the business that impact the project scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed
Provide effective stakeholder feedback through agreed forums and escalation management
Ensure effective reporting of all highlights, cost savings, challenges and focus areas for Capital and Stay-in-Business Projects.
Provide effective Mining Technical Systems license management to remain compliant
Follow relevant forecasting processes for annual Mining Technical Systems Licence renewals
Participate in the annual budget process to include all relevant budget items for effective delivery.

The focus for this role will be to:
Effective collection, analysis and reporting of survey data within the electronic environment.
Perform the function of a data Steward ensuring the data presented is up to date, accurate and correct (data problem solving).
Underground excavation measurements using the latest technology where available.
Technical work responsibilities:
Ensure that all MRM processes are adhered to.
Measure underground excavations - both manual and Freestation
Inventory monitoring and analysis and Capital Surveys.
Install lines and grades in development ends and stopes.
Produce electronic Survey layouts/instructions/notifications.
Survey surface infrastructure (roads, dumps, civils, etc.).
Creating incident, accident and fatality plans.
This role is in the MRM Survey & Systems Department at a C5 level reporting to the Shaft Surveyor.
Qualifications:
The following will be required:
Grade 12 with minimum 50% in mathematics and science.
Minimum requirement: Advanced Chamber of Mines Survey and Elementary Sampling.
Advantageous: B Tech, ND, NHD, COM Adv Val, MRM Cert
Experience & technical skills required:
A minimum of 4 years survey experience as a Senior Surveyor preferable within a hard rock / deep level conventional / mechanised mining environment.
Intermediate Computer literacy in MS Office.
Experience in Microstation will be advantageous.

Job Description:
As the Operations Risk Practitioner you will provide operational support in the implementation and execution of Operational Risk Management with at least 2 years relevant operational mining, processing, and engineering related experience. In addition, any knowledge and experience with risk assessment techniques such as WRAC, Bow-tie Analysis, HAZOP/HAZAN and other industry recognised techniques and tools.
The focus for this role will be the following:
Plan, implement and coordinate the implementation of the ORM to all aspects of the operational risk profile.
Support and coordinate the application of the ORM regarding the four layers of risk management at the operation.
Ensure support for managerial oversight of the delivery of operational risk targets and key results areas.
Implement and maintain the functioning of operational risk management IT Platform.
Report, monitor and track operational risk performance to risk management role holders and operational management.
Prepare managers / Risk Owners / Control Owners for Managerial routine engagements.
Provide risk based operational input to operation to ensure management of material risks, audit results and Learning from Incidents.
Provide support for the integration of operational risk management and leading operational practices and programs such as the Operating Model, incident investigation and assurance practices.
This role is in the Operational Risk Management department at a Band 7 level reporting to the SHE Manager.

It is essential to have a National Diploma in Safety, Occupational Health, Risk Management or associated field such as Engineering
It will be advantageous if you have Courses in management systems (9001, 14001, 18001), Audit, Legislative, Assurance and Hazard

Must be computer literate in MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.

You will ideally have Mining, Process Plant, Logistics, Infrastructure experience as well as Enterprise Project Management Systems, e.g. MS-Projects, Primavera P6, Prism, SAP.
