    Junior Internal Auditor - Centurion

    Key Responsibilities

    Audit Planning:

    • Implement the audit plan for specific assignments as agreed with management, according to the Audit Charter.
    • Make reasonable provisions for ad-hoc tasks or projects requested by management.
    • Implement audit programs and procedures, adhering to COSO and ISACA standards.
    • Participate in preliminary meetings with departments due for auditing.
    • Assist in developing and defining audit scope per assignment, including audit objectives, identified risks, and approved risk and control metrics.

    Conduct Audits:

    • Audit established systems and operations according to agreed plans and deadlines.
    • Identify control weaknesses and deviations from operating standards.
    • Communicate deviations to relevant stakeholders for corrective action.
    • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, COSO, and ISACA standards.

    Reporting and Administration:

    • Compile draft internal audit report findings and ensure all relevant findings are included.
    • Review and edit draft reports before circulation for comments.
    • Finalize and distribute internal audit reports to relevant stakeholders.
    • Consolidate management comments and action plans on findings in the report.
    • Participate in closing meetings with auditees and distribute final reports.
    • Regular follow-up regarding material issues and recommendations.
    • Assist with the preparation of Audit Committee inserts.

    Customer Relations:

    • Manage relationships with line management regarding audit performance and determination of remedial action.
    • Enhance good customer relations (internal and external) and provide accurate and timely feedback.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • National Diploma in Internal Audit (Essential)
    • BCom Degree / BTech in Accounting and Auditing / Internal Audit (Recommended)

    Professional Status:

    • Internal Audit Technician (IAT) Programme (Essential)
    • Institute of Internal Auditors SA (IIASA) Membership (Essential)

    Experience:

    • 2 years of internship/articles in Internal Audit (Essential)
    • 1 year of operational experience in Internal Audit (Recommended)

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Knowledge of organizational structures, enterprise risk management, internal controls, and business objectives/processes in various complex environments (IT, HR, finance, operations).
    • Compliance with the Professional Code of Ethics and the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing according to the Institute of Internal Auditors.
    • Excellent communication and listening skills, ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff.
    • Ability to work independently, plan and execute projects with minimal supervision, and meet required deadlines.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to propose well-founded conclusions.

    Head: Corporate Marketing and Communication - Centurion

    Job Outputs:

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall corporate strategy.
    • Overall corporate marketing, communication and brand strategy (Brand owner). Build the iMasFinance brand and reputation by driving awareness of the iMas value proposition. Is the brand custodian for iMasFinance and the Centre of Excellence for all product marketing.
    • Compile and manage external and internal communication strategies, plans and budgets.
    • Lead and coordinate the Corporate Social Investment (CSI) strategy, action plans and budgets.
    • Translate corporate strategy and business priorities into corporate marketing, brand, communication, product campaigns and customer experience strategies; action plans and budgets and execute the implementation thereof.
    • Develop, manage, maintain and implement corporate marketing and communication policies and procedures.
    • Ensure that customer management functions are ready to provide specialized internal services to its customers, be it marketing support, campaigns, graphics, events and presentations support, events management, internal- and external communication, member management (including rewards) and customer experience.
    • Risk management within the division;
    • Manage and marketing of the iMas Rewards/loyalty programme.
    • Create insights from market research/customer satisfaction/loyalty surveys on iMasFinance member journeys and touchpoints to identify gaps in the existing processes/products/operations/service.
    • Manage and co-ordinate a group customer complaints policy and process and report trends/insights to the line of businesses. The data must influence the implementation of business corrective / improvement actions with the aim of improved customer experience.
    • Build the member base (market share) - Initiate actions to acquire new members and implement approved leads generation and sales promotions with targeted communication to participating employer groups and members. Ensure retention of membership.
    • Manage and co-ordinate corporate events.
    • Ensure ongoing data integrity of the member database (Own the members).
    • Manage and oversee talent retention, transformation, people development, morale, employee movement and succession planning.
    • Division management, key stakeholder relations (internally and externally);
    • Project lead for CMC strategic projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12 Certificate.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Marketing and Communication.
    • Honours or master’s degree would be advantageous.
    • Driver’s License.

    Experience:

    • At least 6-9 years operational experience in Marketing and corporate communications experience, including stakeholder- and staff management.
    • At least 5 years operational experience in Sales and/or business development
    • 5 years corporate management (may be concurrent with the above).

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Financial and business acumen.
    • Understanding the financial services industry from a business perspective, and preferably also the insurance industry.
    • Advanced marketing knowledge and understanding of markets.
    • Advanced knowledge and understanding of digital channels and social media.
    • Public relations and relationship building skills.
    • Internal and external stakeholder management and engagement skills.
    • Project management skills and capabilities.
    • Creative and cross-boundary thinking skills.
    • People management skills, including proven leadership and coaching skills to ensure positive, inspirational and visionary leadership.
    • Ability to plan, control and organise.
    • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel.
    • Capability to confidently interact with Executives and Board members.
    • Capability to fluently express him-/herself in the English language, both written and verbally.
