    Maintenance Work Scoper

    Who You Are:

    What you’ll have done before:

    Baseline:

    • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical /Millwright NQF Level 3-4 with Trade test certificate.
    • 3-5 years’ experience in Maintenance.

    Advantageous:

    • Trade Test Certificate.
    • SAP-PM Knowledge.

    What you’ll be doing:

    JOB PLANNING:

    • Review and keep maintenance plan up to date.
    • Receive and review the job package for completeness.
    • Check if work can be carried out safely and according to the job package.
    • Obtain the work permit prior execute the maintenance work.
    • Issuing of permit to work.
    • Prepare tools and equipment.
    • Receive materials and/or services required from the Supervisor.

    JOB EXECUTION:

    •  Perform the maintenance task as per the job package/card. 
    • If additional problems are identified during the job that may need a new work order, thoroughly troubleshoot the source/cause of the problem according to the value-added work process.
    • Assist in the analysis to ensure the problem is corrected.
    • If additional materials and/or services are required, inform the Maintenance Supervisor. 
    • Apply the necessary skills of respective trade/craft/discipline in executing maintenance work.
    •  Leverage technical trade/craft/discipline skills to apprentice and other maintenance associates through available knowledge sharing platform.
    •  Complete the work and return equipment to operations (hand back the equipment to operation safely). 
    • All Turnaround Work orders completed are closed out according to standard. 
    • Issuing or receiving Permit to Work. 
    • Issuing of job cards to contractors.
    • Conducting HSEQ Tier 1 assurance. 
    • Review and validate all work and task lists for Turnarounds.
    • Perform electrical engineering related responsibilities i.e Energy/Physical Isolation of equipment LOTO (lock out tag out).
    • Manage Maintenance contractors for Terminal/Depot project. 
    • Conduct Quality assurance after any repair or maintenance work conducted by contractors/vendor.
    • Conduct Incident investigation for equipment failure incidents. 
    • Participate on risk assessment studies. 

    JOB HANDOVER:

    •  Ensure jobs, as per work scope, are completed and equipment are Returned To Operations (RTO).
    • Execute job until completion. Inform Supervisor on any additional requirement and update on the status of the job.

    DOCUMENTATION: 

    • Provide complete input/information needed in Job Package for updating the SAP work order closure, status, and technical finding data.
    • Assist in the development of Maintenance Work Procedures.
    • Feedback information on job package quality and Root Cause Analysis data as required.
    • Document/record history.
    • Follow the Maintenance Operational Excellence.
    • Assist in maintenance planning.
    • Follows job plan to complete work.
    • Follows standard work procedures where available.
    •  Ensure that all Engineering Management of change (MOC) requirement are met.  
    • Participate in all Depot MOC activities

    Receiving Clerk

    What you'll be doing

    • Monitor requirements to receive stock is understood and the necessary actions are taken.
    • Ensure differences between product requirements applied to ensure readiness for stock receipt.
    • Receipt of stock and physical stock reconciliation process is understood,
    • Physical delivery and receiving product documentation are present, completed and correct.
    • Delivery information is captured and recorded in system relevant documentation kept on file with relevant stock count documents.  
    • Actual product received correlates with delivery documentation. 
    • Any discrepancy accounted for as per prescribed procedure.  
    • SAP/EWM system transaction is used to enter stock on hand.
    • Product quality checked against appropriate specifications.
    • All stock transactions processed in core information system 
    • Daily reviewing and clearing of Stock Camparisson Reports 
    • Identify damage Stock and publish to Business for Rework Strategy
    • Manage the Proces for Rework process until Stock has been transferred to relevant Rework streams

    What you've done before

    Baseline:

    • At least 2 years related experience.
    • Matric or equivalent.
    • Exceptional skills in loading and offloading 
    • Deep knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
    • Experience working with different material
    • Product handling 
    • Understanding of inventory Management 

    Advantageous:

    • Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and work flexible hours
    • Work shifts when required

    • 2 years’ experience in Terminal operations/Supply Chain

    • Receipt of various product grades via pipeline, ship and road.
    • Dealing with other Oil companies, external surveyors and internal shipping teams 
    • Ensure the plant operates effectively and contributing to minor maintenance at the terminal.

    What you'll be doing:

    • The right products in the right quantities are received into stock.
    • No accidents, contaminations or spills due to negligence of incumbent.
    • Products are stored safely in line with policy guidelines and Standing instructions.
    • The right products in the right quantities are stored in the right storage areas.
    •  Product handling take place in accordance with laid-down policy guidelines and Standing instructions.
    •  No delays in customer service due to incompetence of operator-all products dispatched on time as per loading documentation.
    • The work area is maintained in a clean, safe and hazard-free condition.
    • Depot equipment in good working order.
    • Stocks are counted, tanks dipped on time as per agreed schedule.
    • Perform minor plant maintenance as per instructions of Plant Supervisor.
    • Interact with customers and service providers.
    • Work with contractor to ensure deliverables are met.
    • Provide internal support to the contractor.
    • PPE Compliance.
    • ZETO Rule Compliance.
    • STOP Compliance.
    • Comply to Environmental regulations.
