    Marketing Administrator - Johannesburg

    Detailed Responsibilities

    • Ensure that brochures and in-camp collateral are organised and in order
    • Monitor brochure stock levels and reorder materials as requested by camp staff
    • Coordinate with printing vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
    • Update and maintain a database of all collateral materials
    • Assist in preparing and distributing marketing materials
    • Coordinate prize and gifting/store inventory and assist with timely delivery and tracking of staff prizes, gifts and purchased items to our Trade Partners
    • Update Marketing databases and distribution lists
    • Remove old brochures and promotional materials when new ones arrive
    • Assist with reporting, competitions, and intranet information
    • Create and format correspondence and reports
    • Manage calendars and schedule appointments
    • Prepare invoices and track payments
    • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed

    CANDIDATE PROFILE

    Qualification:

    • Marketing certificate / qualification
    • Administration qualification would be advantageous

    Experience:

    • Two or more years of experience in marketing administration or a similar role

    Skills:

    • Detail-oriented and process-driven in all tasks
    • Logistical in thought process to ensure efficiency and timeliness in all marketing activities
    • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments and external vendors
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other marketing software platforms

    Intermediate Operations Specialist – Trade& Media

     Responsibilities

    •  Develop Stakeholder relationships by liaising with travel designers on all bookings in an operational capacity and continuous communication with suppliers and internal sales.
    • Keep all booking information updated in the system ensuring Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is continually up to date.
    • Reconfirm all services as per the Wilderness Safaris Terms & Conditions
    • Keep updated with all WS and AP product updates, as well as technology updates
    • Contact suppliers in writing to confirm or cancel relevant services giving them all special requirements
    • Maintain booking file (electronically) which has been processed by the Travel Designer
    • Escalate complaints that could negatively affect long-term relationships, to relevant Managers  
    • Feedback to all properties where guests are due to travel to mitigate complaints down the line

     CANDIDATE PROFILE

     Qualification:-

    • Matric certificate – with maths (minimum standard grade or above)
    • Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism/hospitality.

     Experience:-            

    • Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in Travel and Tourism.
    • Experience in handling customer relationships and developing & promoting product and services in the inbound travel industry.
    • Computer Literate (Microsoft Office, Email, Teams, Excel, Internet browsers)
    • Proven English literacy.
    • Excellent product and geographic knowledge on Southern & East Africa.
    • General product knowledge on Southern and East Africa.
    • Personal or educational travel experience advantageous.

    Skills:-        

    • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data capturing.
    • A good financial understanding.
