    Security Manager Operations

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • National Diploma in Security Management or Equivalent
    • B Tech in Security Management or equivalent NQF level 7 (Degree) qualification will be advantageous
    • Handle and use a Shotgun for Business Purposes
    • Handle and use a Handgun for Business Purposes
    • Handle and use a Self-loading Rifle for Business Purposes
    • PSIRA Armed responses course
    • PSIRA Bullion Cash in Transit (as per operational requirement)
    • Registered with the PSIRA on grade A
    • Valid drivers license code B 
    • Tactical firearms qualification will be advantageous 

    Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

    • Minimum 8 years' experience in security or equivalent environment with exposure in Investigation/Crime Information analysis/ Information gathering and Surveillance 
    • 5 years' experience in security management  

    Key Knowledge and Skills:

    • Knowledge of strategic and operational planning and management
    • Competent in functional systems used in the organization
    • Project management skills
    • Understanding and recognition of criminal incident behaviour and suspect profiling 
    • Basic knowledge of applicable business communication and business reports writing
    • Computer literacy (MS Office package)
    • Communications in English (spoken, written and reading)
    • Excellent Communications and interpersonal Skills
    • Coaching and mentoring skills
    • Presentation and handling of evidence in court / disciplinary hearing
    • Good working relations
    • Management and leadership skills
    • Threat and Risk Assessment skills
    • Crisis Management
    • Knowledge of security related legislation / policies /procedures / standards
    • Financial management skills
    • Statement taking
    • Handling and protecting the crime scene
    • Responding to violent crimes
    • Emergency preparedness and response to various situations
    • Knowledge in Investigation/ information gathering / Logistics and Surveillance 
    • Counter Industrial Action practical

    Payroll Remuneration & Benefit Ref No. IVP-HR-05

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent
    • Minimum (or essential) qualification required: Relevant 4-year degree (or Hon) Human Resources / Finance or related field.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR, payroll management, remuneration and benefits including leadership of a payroll.

    Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

    • Experience of a total reward philosophy
    • Experience in development and implementation of governance systems
    • Experience in wage negotiation issues and its influence on the reward philosophy
    • Experience in researching benchmarks, participating in surveys and integrating value.
    • Experience in introducing incentive elements and its impact on reward.
    • Additional experience: Experience within a mining environment is preferred.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

    • Industry norms and trends concerning remuneration.
    • Legislation with reference to applicable Acts
    • Specialist knowledge areas such as incentives, allowances, Paterson levels, etc.
    • Theories and Principles surrounding incentives, attraction and retention initiatives.
    • Policies, Procedures & Systems
    • Proficiency in English and Afrikaans
