Jobs Available at Au Pair Extraordinaire

Duties: 

• Fetch kids from schools, take to extra murals. 
• Do homework/projects, plan play dates and take and fetch from play dates. 
• Give lunch and play games, or do arts and craft or sport with kids. 
• Plan holiday schedule. 
• Unpack school bags, make sure lunch boxes are washed for the next day and the water bottles are refilled and in the fridge for the next day. 
• Bath and give dinner before leaving. 
• Make sure school clothes are out for the next day and school bags are packed with the relevant extramural sports clothing. Keep kids playroom and bedrooms tidy after playing and pack toys away. 
• Tidy up after lunch or dinner by placing dishes in the dishwasher or washing them. 
• Takes kids to doctors etc when required. 
• Do some occasional shopping or errands when required.

Special Requirements:

• Female, able to think on their feet and be organized.  Someone well-mannered and able to read the room. Someone that will be proactive and take initiative in planning activities for the kids (No screens are permitted), Someone that will engage with the children and not be on their phones.

• Duties: General curriculum support in all prescribed subjects
• Special Requirements: Tutor/Homeschooling/teaching experience, someone patient, someone that will make learning fun so that the child enjoys school again

• Special Requirements: Female, 23 years and over with at least 3 years driving experience, someone passionate about children, energetic, active, high spirited

• Duties: Fetch from school, take to extra murals, supervision and assistance of homework and projects, preparation of light snacks and meals, interactive play and general assistance.
• Special Requirements: Someone who is extroverted, friendly and firm, female, up to 30 years old. Energetic and outgoing. Sporty would be great but not a requirement.

• Duties: General childcare (changing nappies etc). Assist parents with dinner time, bath time as well as bedtime. Age-appropriate stimulation/activities, tidy up toys/playroom, wash and get bottles ready for the next day.
• Special Requirements: Afrikaans Female, Christian Values, 25 – 60 years, good communicator, experience with baby/toddlers

• Duties: Meeting the child at home, candidate will be required to assist him in creating a routine with his academics, structuring the work, getting him to focus and concentrate. Focus will be on Maths, reading skills, phonics and comprehension skills.
• Requirements: Patient, strict but caring – must be able to get him to focus

• Duties: Collecting from school, transporting to and from extra murals, extra lessons, assisting the three boys with homework, educational stimulation and age appropriate engagement. Occasionally assist the Grade 10 with projects. Occasional weekend babysitting is needed with prior notice. Assisting with anything childcare related and general supervision.

• Duties: Meeting the child at school, facilitate within the classroom and help to focus on the curriculum, ensure he is getting through his work, guidance through tasks and assignments, motivating the child, managing the emotional culture within the classroom for the child, transporting home after school and propping at home
• Requirements: Patient, experience with facilitation would be beneficial

• Duties: Collecting from school, transporting to and from extra murals, supervise and assist with homework (main focus will be on the eldest's homework to help him concentrate on this), educational stimulation, age appropriate engagement, taking to and from play dates or sporting events.
• Requirements: Patient, energetic, sporty male or female candidate, minimum 3 years driving experience, would be beneficial if the candidate has experience with ADHD
