    Sales Engineer - Energy

    Your role

    •  Execute sales strategy and market penetration within the Energy (Wind, Oil and Gas, Energy Storage and Power Generation) segment in South Africa & Sub-Saharan Africa.
    •  Understanding of each of the market segments operations is a requirement.
    •  Achieve/exceed the annual sales target allocated for South Africa and specific countries within Sub-Saharan Africa.
    •  Drive strategic market development for all sales channels, to increase market share and profitability throughout the Energy Segment.
    •  Appoint, develop, and monitor progress of distribution partners.
    •  Realize (directly or in cooperation with partners) the whole sales process necessary to obtain the order. i.e., identify the opportunity, present proposal, demonstrate value, negotiate, and close the deal.
    •  Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with customers through communication channels and visits, telephone calls and digital channels.
    •  Make daily use of our CRM system for customer data, visits, comments, quotes etc.
    •  Participate in seminars, exhibitions, and other marketing activities.
    •  Ensure optimal and efficient territory coverage.
    •  Coach and train distribution partners.
    •  Contribute to the development of business plans and sales strategy to achieve targets.

    Field Service Engineer - Software Services

    Your role

    •  As Atlas Copco ACTA Software Service Engineer, you will be required to support our software solutions, integration of Industrial Tools and Assembly Systems and projects for our customers.
    •  You will be part of the Service Business Line and support our Industrial Technique Divisions Motor Vehicle Industry (MVI) and General Industry (GI).  
    •  We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated software professional capable of supporting the installation and configuration of complex production systems.
    •  Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting thorough technical analyses of installed solutions in case of malfunctions and providing contract support.
    •  The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in managing production-critical systems within industrial environments. 
    •  You should possess a deep understanding of the relationship between customer production processes and the corresponding software products and solutions.
    •  Communicate with various stakeholders such as Customers, MVI/GI teams, product company and other customer centers.
    •  Accountability of order execution with operational excellence.
    •  Support for Service Level Agreement finalization.
    •  Support for successful project executions with Automation task related to Software.
    •  Strong collaboration with Product Sales Team for new projects including demos.

     During the project phase:

    •   Integration of new software solutions into existing technical customer environments.
    •   System installation and configuration of software products including tools and their controllers.
    •   Handling of change requests.
    •   Testing and validation.
    •   Problem analysis and elimination of errors.
    •   Customer trainings.
    •   Supporting customer in pilot phases, while ramping up the production.
    •  During the maintenance phase additionally:
    •   Ongoing remote or onsite production support.
    •   Follow up on IT incidents with product company.
    •   Shift support if necessary.
    •   Reconfiguration and modification.
    •   Software updates.
    •   Preventive Maintenance, Calibration and other services (such as Installation and Commissioning, troubleshooting etc.) related to Industrial tools.

    To succeed, you will need

    •  Degree or diploma in Information Technology/Electronics and Communication, or equivalent.
    •  Certification courses in software and database are advantageous.
    •  Proven professional experience as a system administrator in the IT sector.
    •  Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in the field. 
    •  Valid driver’s license.
    •  A Team Player with strong communication skill. 
    •  Server and workstation administration on Windows and UNIX, preferably including cluster technologies.
    •  Installation and troubleshooting of hardware platforms.
    •  Network technology and data communications.
    •  ORACLE and Microsoft SQL Server installation and administration.
    •  Webserver installation, management and troubleshooting: Apache, IIS.
    •  Fluent in verbal and written English, additional local languages would be advantageous. 
    •  Basic knowledge in industrial automation, fieldbus technique and PLC programming are desirable.
    •  Advantageous to have experience with software programming and scripting languages.
    •  Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
    •  Ability to handle complex multitasking situations under pressure.

    Internal Sales Representative - Service

    Your role

    •  End-to-end oversight of the business cycle from initial inquiry generation through invoicing and collection of payments.
    •  Installed base mapping on monthly basis for equipment’s sold to customers in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
    •  Identify new business opportunities through various internal and external sources.
    •  Consistent interaction with our external customers (Service team, MVI – Motor Vehicle Industry, GI – General Industry and Projects team).
    •  Day-to-day working in various CRM - Customer Relationship Management portals to manage sales pipeline.
    •  Plan and execute transformation plan of customers from reactive repairs to ToolCover Products demonstrating their benefits.
    •  Assist customers in maintaining appropriate levels of spare parts inventory. 
    •  Ensure that all repairs and Preventative Maintenance are done including Maintenance kits, aligning with 1:1 ratio target.
    •  Prepare and manage database of Preventative Maintenance schedule, Calibration schedule for tools and quality assurance products.
    •  Carry out tele-sales, mailer campaigns and generate leads for aftermarket.
    •  Target at least one chargeable service intervention per annum with genuine Atlas Copco parts with every customer.
    •  Increase the sales of service kits. oil kits and vane kits for pneumatic tools.
    •  Provide required service sales support to our distributors and channel partners.

    •  Generation of new business opportunities.
    •  Number of quotes and its conversion.
    •  Mapping of Installed base for Service Business.

    •  2+ years of experience in selling products/solutions to customers.
    •  Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both spoken and written English.

    •  Proficient in PC skills (MS office, MS Excel, Power Point etc).
    •  Basic selling skills.
