    Clerk (Claims)

    Responsibilities and Duties 

    • General administrative duties
    • Prepare, issue, and send out insurance claims, arrange for payments on insurance claims
    • Regularly capture required information on internal systems, record and update customer claims
    • Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems
    • Prepare claim reports 

    Qualifications and Skills 

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • At least 3 years' work experience in short term insurance
    • RE5 certificate (advantageous)
    • Computer literate
    • Advanced skills in excel
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Deadline driven, good organizing and planning skills

    Assistant Mill Manager

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Organising and managing day-to-day activities for plant operations
    • Manage a team in achieving daily production goals
    • Coordinate with the Mill Manager and Maintenance Manager in resolving plant issues in a timely manner
    • Provide training and guidance to workers to meet performance standards
    • Determine resource requirements, work allocation and production deadlines to achieve production objectives
    • Maintain proper documentation for all plant related activities
    • Ensure materials, supplies and equipment are readily and continuously available for workers to carry out production process
    • Implement cost reduction initiatives to minimize plant and labour expenditures
    • Optimize plant operations to meet quality and production standards
    • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment for workers
    • Ensure plant compliance with company policies and government regulations
    • Schedule routine inspection and maintenance of plant equipment to prevent machine downtime
    • Co-ordinate and assist in export activities, liaising with port and all other stakeholders
    • Co-ordinate export team during export activities

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • A degree or diploma in engineering, manufacturing or a related field
    • Previous experience in a production environment
    • Computer literacy in MS Excel and Word at a high level
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team of production workers
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Good organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
    • Traceable references
