Purpose:
- To provide an effective first line response capability in security emergencies within the South African Bank Note Company.
Main Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Rapidly respond to and contain physical security threats within the perimeter of the National Key Point.
- Contain the emergency situation & physical security threat, handover situation to the SAPS and Emergency Services.
- Provide tactical security support to the broader SARB Group as and when required, including during disasters.
- Perform duties of a security official in the absence of an emergency.
- Provide initial medical assistance in the event of a medical emergency.
- Provide management information for the purposes of decision making.

Purpose:
- To monitor, manage, conduct and quality control process audits, sampling unfit and fit product using the on-line and off-line quality inspection systems and take corrective actions when inspection results deviate from the expected output.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Ensure the in-line and offline inspection systems are always aligned to customer requirements and that the systems function effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor the settings of the inspection systems, quality output and make necessary adjustments to the system
- Conduct visual inspection and process sampling sheets through Proxima-O and Proxima-I inspection system and advice printers to adjust when necessary.
- Adhere to daily and weekly production and quality control plans, maintain proper control of reference sheets & quality records and escalate the quality issues being experienced to the supervisor.
- Keep up-to-date with the quality control plans, customer’s quality requirements and specifications.
- Ensure that in-line and off-line inspection systems are calibrated, clean and autonomous maintenance conducted.
- Identify process risks and implement effective controls in line with the specifications & customer requirements, ensure compliance to policies, procedures, processes and relevant legislation.
- Ensure non-conformances are raised for identified deviations, participate in root cause analysis of product and /or process quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure that all Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) and Quality regulations and standards are adhered to in line with the legal requirements.
The Preferred Candidate is likely to have:
- Grade 12 with Maths and Science
- Higher Certificate in Information Systems Data Analytics or equivalent

Purpose:
- To control and monitor operations of the vaults, maintain a safe environment which enables efficient control of securitized product and ensure stock items are secured & accounted for at all times.
Main Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Managing product buffers, balancing of vaults after each shift, securing and account for product at all times.
- Ensure that the vault layout is prepared to support efficient product flow and to apply the first-in-first-out stock control principle.
- Run reports through the system to advise when buffer levels are compromised and take proactive measure to ensure that the Production Department has the required stock at all times.

Purpose
To maintain, repair and install all environmental heating equipment within the South African Bank Note Company.
Main Responsibilities (not limited to):
- To ensure sufficient water supply to heating boilers for production needs.
- Ensures water goes through the right direction through effective management of waste water streams.
- Diagnose the cause of problems or failures in heating portion of the HVAC system for the purpose of identifying equipment or systems repair and/or replacement.
- Install heating equipment and ventilation systems.
