    Direct Sales Agent

    DESCRIPTION
    We're on the lookout for an experienced Direct Sales Agent for our client Vodacom.

    • The role is purely a direct sales position focusing on the following product suites: Business Internet LTE, Wireless, Wireless Air and Fiber to business clients and expanding market acceptance of the Vodacom brand thus enhancing the overall companies sales output and taking full accountability to assigned monthly targets as set put by the Regional Team Leader. To increase new sales via new business generation, thus increasing the companies new business solutions and technologies to market. The position focuses on aggressive direct Business Internet Sales and achieving defined Targets. Project may change as per client request from time to time.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Daily Feed Activity

    •  Meet and exceed stipulated monthly direct Business Internet sales targets (Target 25 per month)
    •  Activity Target per day (Regional execution) - 20 Visits per day to Businesses, SME’s or SOHO`s
    •  Ensure the daily, weekly and monthly sales pipeline is updated
    •  Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting in an increased daily pipeline
    •  Morning stand-up at 08:00 daily with the Regional Team Leader to discuss sales targets vs actual vs activity
    •  Adhere to the Vodacom Absolute rules
    •  Daily training on products via Teams/On-site with the RTL
    •  DSA to be accompanied by RTL to close off Sales Process
    •  Travel Summaries to be monitored daily and submitted to the RTL for approval
    •  Daily, weekly feedback sessions to line management on activity and sales
    •  Kitted correctly, uniform and presentable as per guidelines
    •  Align with RTL, Regional Manager and Single Point of Contact on strategy
    • Daily Reporting Tasks
    •  Complete the daily register and sales to be submitted to the RTL
    •  Record competitor activity and Field activities
    •  Complete the Red Flag, Exception report daily and sent off to the RTL at 15:30
    •  Resolve Red flags as and when received
    •  Submit monthly travel logs and submit to RTL (100% accuracy)

    Sales Targets

    •  Achieve the minimum 25 approved Business Internet sales monthly – minimum of 12 Wireless, Wireless Air or Fibre to qualify for commission
    •  Facilitate the order and quotes and fast track the sales orders
    •  Monitor sales and visits twice daily 12:00 update and 16:00 update to the RTL C2 General
    •  Arrange 1 quality promotion per week in the defined area with the RTL
    •  Ensure sales targets are met monthly

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 1-3 years’ experience within sales in Telecommunications and experience with a competing ISP
    • Diploma/NQF level 5
    • Valid Drivers License
    • Problem solving skills
    • Analytical skills
    • Computer literacy - MS office excel & powerpoint
    • Ability to Work independently on routine assignments or projects
    • Communication Skills (verbal & written)
