    LINUX Certified Senior System Administrator

    Qualifications, skills and experience

    • A Bachelors’ Degree (NQF Level 7) or NQF 6 Diploma in computer science/engineering/information technology.
    • Certified Linux Administration.
    • Certified Virtualisation or cloud Administration.
    • 6 - 8 years of experience with server environments including the following:
    • Microsoft 365 Cloud Administration, configuration, and support
    • Linux operating systems; installing, configuring, and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. x and 8. x, SUSE Enterprise Linux 12 and 15, Ubuntu 22.04.
    • Windows operating systems: installing, configuring, and supporting.
    • Virtualization technologies: Cloud and On-premises including VMware ESXi, Microsoft Azure, etc.
    • Identity and user management
    • Web and application support including, IIS, Apache, Apache Tomcat, Nginx
    • Security: Configurations, patch management and vulnerability management.

    Expert knowledge in the following is required:

    • Operating systems: Manage the whole life cycle of the instances.
    • Automating tasks: Configuring and maintaining large number of instances with automation tools and scripting.
    • Service Management processes (Problem Management, Capacity Management, Service Design, Incident Management, etc.)
    • Storage solutions: SAN, Server storage, cloud storage
    • Knowledge of Commvault backup and recovery
    • Critical thinking/debugging skills from application to network layer.

    Working experience and knowledge of the following is required:

    • Architecture and Design, Data Centre, and Facilities.
    • Governance and legislative practices.
    • Best practice ICT standards and procedures.
    • Logical thinking to gather and analyse information, design, and test solutions, and formulate plans

    Key responsibilities:

    • Release Management: operational changes in the ICT infrastructure and applications
    • System Availability and Compliance: Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and adhering to ICT best practice standards.
    • Monitoring and Reporting: reporting of services/systems availability and capacity.
    • Stakeholder Advisory: aligning business and systems requirements with new technology implementations.
    • Maintenance Planning: Develop maintenance schedules for systems equipment.
    • Support Services: for the swift resolution of incidents.
    • Operational Analysis: for the improvement of IT systems.
    • Configuration Management: Track changes in configurations and update associated documentation accordingly.
    • Incident Response: Respond to outages and other infrastructure issues promptly in accordance with SLAs

    Senior Specialist: Business Development

    Responsibilities:

    • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities to ensure the acquisition of new business.
    • Appoint and identify new business and franchise opportunities.
    • Build and maintain a sufficient and adequate new business pipeline to achieve revenue.
    • Conduct research and gather data to provide input to operational reporting and decision making.
    • Define standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Provide specialist advice to identify and develop solutions to improve quality of processes and
    • Negotiate customer pricing within set guidelines to maximize profitability.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar environment, of which at least 1 - 2 years' specialist experience

    Launch Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Supplying the applicable technical information to the operations, sourced by the customer/commercial managers, ensuring that process specifications and BOMs fulfil customer expectations.
    • Planning, management and timing of all Prototypes and Production Trial Runs.
    • Managing on-site the Launching Timelines during the five phases of APQP and for the Retan, Finishing and Cutting activities, according to the project scope.
    • To conduct follow up visits to Trim Plants for major launch events (CV, PAN-1, NS, etc.) as required.
    • Follow-up lab testing and product requirements for all new products.
    • Receive the Program Input Matrix from the Commercial Manager and share it with the plants after validation as the official kick-off of APQP phase 1.
    • Receive the preliminary HOB from PD and share it to the APQP areas.
    • Manage the validation of Leather (Crust and Finishing) engineering changes directed by the customer.
    • To manage the Cutting plants Major Engineering Changes
    • To share updated laboratory specifications to Product Development Managers and Laboratory Managers.
    • To ensure the right fulfilling of the Gate 5 for every plant after 30, 60 and 90 days after SOP.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Four-year degree with 3 to 7 years’ experience in operations with a passion for the manufacturing floor, processes and products.
    • Technical knowledge in terms of leather, cutting and VAP’s.
    • Must be comfortable communicating across as well as up and down an organization.
    • Must possess self-confidence but be a team-player.

    Senior Production Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Planning and organizing production schedules and ensuring cost effectiveness.
    • Setting quality standards and adhering to health and safety.
    • Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes.
    • Overseeing production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
    • Ensure selecting, ordering, and purchasing materials are on time.
    • Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
    • Liaison with different departments, e.g., purchasing, sales and technical department.
    • Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with internal customers and managers.
    • Supervising and motivating of team of employees as well as identifying training needs.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Production / Management Diploma/Degree
    • 5-10 years’ experience in Production Management’
    • Management Certification from a recognized institution/association.
    • MRP/ERP experience
    • Industrial Engineering experience (Advantage)
    • AI & Digitalization knowledge (Advantage)
