Job Description
- Our leading consulting engineering client is currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Designer with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or similar sector of the industry to provide support to our Client in the execution of projects.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Apply client specifications and local/international standards to electrical designs, gather site information, and update existing drawings.
- Model cable racks, earthing, lighting, and small power systems in SP3D; participate in plot plan and model reviews at various stages.
- Design cable rack sizing, routing, trenching, earthing, lightning protection, lighting, small power layouts, and hazardous area classifications.
- Create overall and protection single-line diagrams, substation equipment layouts, and integrate electrical design with civil, mechanical, piping, and C&I.
- Produce MTOs and BOQs, contribute to E&I installation contracts, bid evaluations, and provide site support during installation and EOJ as-building.
