    Floor Customer Advisor - Sandton

    The main responsibilities of the role include: 

    • Gaining a complete understanding of our entire product offering.
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.
    • Understanding customer needs and connecting them to the right solutions.
    • Ensure all our products are always well stocked and merchandised to the highest standard.
    • Assist customers by preparing quotations for current and future orders.
    • Following up efficiently and effectively with customers on everything related to their outstanding orders and quotations.
    • Processing of customer payments at Point of Sale and taking accountability for cash desk when required.
    • Available to work on weekends when required.

    The experience we’re looking for:

    • Experience in a similar role focused on looking after customers.
    • Well-spoken with an excellent telephone manner.
    • Fluent in spoken and written English. 

    The type of personality that will excel:

    • A “go-to” person on whom people can rely.
    • Outstanding with people, possessing great communication skills.

    Customer Support

    The main responsibilities of the role include:

    • Gaining a complete understanding of our entire product offering.
    • Understanding customer needs and connecting them to the right solutions.
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.
    • Engaging directly with customers around any queries and concerns as well as taking incoming customer calls.
    • Assist customers by preparing quotations for current and future orders.
    • Ensuring all new orders are captured as efficiently as possible, managing the flow of orders, and liaising with the External Advisors as and when needed.
    • Ensure all our products are always well stocked and merchandised to the highest standard.
    • Processing of customer payments at Point of Sale and taking accountability for cash desk when required.
    • Available to work on weekends when required.

    The experience we’re looking for:

    • Experience in a similar role focused on looking after customers.
    • Well-spoken with an excellent telephone manner.
    • Fluent in spoken and written English.
    • Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel (spreadsheets), Word, Outlook; preferably also Syspro.

    External Customer Advisor

    Job Description

    • To connect them with the best workwear solutions, our customers are supported by an External Customer Advisor. This reliable go-to is an extension of Jonsson Workwear and is responsible for building and maintaining the solid partnerships that propel our business forward. 
    • Our team requires an experienced, high-calibre External Customer Advisor to look after our customers in the Bloemfontein region. As the dedicated point of contact, you are presentable and professional, with exceptional interpersonal skills. You are prepared to go to great lengths to ensure our customers are served with charm, obsession and consideration.

    The individual best suited to this role will be required to:

    • Demonstrate the initiative and drive to forge strong customer partnerships.
    • Display the intelligence and communication skills needed to connect with individuals at every level of our customer’s business.
    • Think big, think laterally and continually look out for new opportunities with determination and persistence.
    • Understand each customer’s requirements, and proactively suggest solutions that meet their needs.
    • Always follow up, follow through and fulfil your commitments, always.
    • Spend a substantial amount of time travelling to call on customers, with Jonsson Workwear Bloemfontein as your central location when needed.
