    Junior Internal Auditor - Sandton

    • The appointed person will work closely with the Internal Auditor and Internal audit Manager, in testing the controls identified for SOX compliance purposes as well as Internal Audit reviews to ensure that the compliance testing as well as the audit plan are successfully carried out in order to report to the Board through the Audit Committee.

    You will have the following:

    • Bcom internal auditing/Accounting degree or Diploma in Internal Auditing 
    • Honours, BTech or a Post Graduate Diploma in Internal Auditing/Other Finance related (NQF7) will be advantageous 
    • Planning/in the process of obtaining professional certification (CIA/CFE/CISA)

    Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to: 
    Process: 

    • Execute internal audit assignments in line with company methodology, and IIA Standards.
    • Responsible for Internal audit planning, process description, risk assessment, audit program and procedures development for review by Internal Audit Manager
    • Playing an active role in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practices.
    • Prepare working papers, assessing, and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of management controls in assigned audit reviews.
    • Prepare of draft audit reports, presenting and communicating audit findings (criteria, observations root causes, risks) including practical and value adding recommendations to ensure that the business is run economically efficiently and effectively, for management discussions.
    • Perform self-quality assurance review of the audit file before submitting to the Internal Audit Manager for review and finalisation.

    Systems Administrator – IT - Sandton

    • Ivanhoe Mines SA (Pty) Ltd is looking for someone whwill be responsible for the commissioning, maintenance and security of information systems tsupport the server and cloud infrastructure for the group and drive the architectural design of the systems accountable and responsible for. Ensure that ICT solutions are in line with business requirements for optimal ROI. Furthermore, you will alsbe responsible for ensuring legal compliance with all applicable ICT related laws including but not limited tthe ECT Act, Rica Act, POPI Act, GDPR (EU version) and UK-GDPR.

    You will have the following:

    • A 3 Year National Diploma Information Technology discipline beneficial or equivalent with a, 
    • Valid Microsoft Engineer Certificate in server administration or equivalent (MCSE, MCITP, MCSA) a, 
    • Microsoft Azure Foundation Certification with a, 
    • Valid A+ & N+ certificate or equivalent and a, 
    • Valid Driver’s License with at least, 
    • 10+ years relevant experience in management of the Storage and Server (Physical / Virtual) Infrastructure including (but not limited to) Windows Environment.
    • 3+ years hands on experience with troubleshooting and providing support required in Virtual or Cloud platform (Azure) including backup and recovery of all systems.
    • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of server infrastructure.
    • Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
    • Writing automation scripts with languages such as PowerShell and Bash/Shell.
    • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
    • Good project management skills.
    • Programming knowledge advantageous.

    • Cost management (Software License optimization treduce cost and investigating alternative products).
    • Project management (Role out of new projects within timelines and budgets).
    • Provide support and management aspects of server and storage infrastructure operations such as the Microsoft platforms.
    • Apply governance and security controls around overall design, quality, and technical standards related tthe server and storage infrastructure.
    • Provide Anti-Virus administrations and deployment across servers and desktops.
    • Deployment, maintenance, and management of the storage infrastructure that connected tHypervisor and standalone server platforms.
    • Proactive monitoring of the server (physical & virtual) and storage infrastructure including related components.
    • Monitor and maintain server logs and health alarms.
    • Monitor / maintain, investigate and report breaches in performance. (Server uptime and performance optimization).
    • Monitor and maintain capacity - disk, RAM and processor.
    • Reporting, Monitoring & Evaluation, Audit: Ensure that all ICT reporting is aligned with standards, guidelines and schedules.

    Responsible for commissioning, maintenance and Tier 3 fault analysis of:

    • Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware.
    • Server operating systems (MS Server, Linux).
    • MS Network Access Protection (NAP, NPS, Radius), DHCP, DNS(Tierra), AD, LDAP, ADFS, Certificate Services.
    • MS Group Policy Objects.
    • SQL servers (MSSQL, Oracle).
    • Application servers (IIS).
    • Microsoft license distribution systems (VLMS).
    • Load Balancing (Cloudflare, Kemp, F5, NLB).
    • Backups (Veeam).
    • Vulnerability Assessment (Netwrix, Nessus).
    • Email Management (Microsoft Exchange, Mimecast).
    • Mobile device enrollment (Active Sync, MDM).
    • Responsible tvirtualize and consolidate physical Servers across the Group.
    • Ensure availability and performance compliance tSLA’s (Service Level Agreements) and OLA’s (Operational Level Agreements).

    Ensure best practice configuration is adhered to.

    • Perform backup and recovery of all systems.
    • Perform maintenance tasks such as patch levels, firmware upgrades and backups.
    • Oversee physical security, console access and out of band management access.
    • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems. Across the Group.
    • Work cooperatively with application teams tinstall or upgrade existing applications.
    • Liaise with hardware and software suppliers; internet providers; and hosting providers tfind the best possible solution tmeet the business needs and objectives of the Company.
    • Plan, design and implement solutions architecture across the group.
    • Engagement & Communication: Establish and maintain good working relationships and an effective / sound communication system with the ICT Function and operations.
    • Company Policy & Procedures Compliance: Takes cognizance of and adhere tCompany policies, procedures and relevant legislation. Manage and report on non-compliance issues.
