    Payroll Administrator - Cape Town

    What you’ll have done before:

    Baseline:

    • NQF Level 5 (Higher Certificate in Human Resources/ Business Administration or relevant)
    • 3 years experience in Payroll Administration
    • Experience in SAP HR & SAP FI Systems
    • Expert knowledge of MS Excel

    Advantageous:

    • NQF Level 6 (Diploma in HR)

    What you will be doing

    • Ensure Payroll Data correctness by performing data entry of all payroll related fields and updating payroll related data as requested to ensure integrity of payroll related master data
    • Ensure strict adherence to policies by ensuring that all changes requested are in line with policy before effecting the change and the correct approvals are received before processing requested changes in order to ensure compliance to adherence to Payroll and Benefits Policies
    • Provide effective and efficient customer support by ensuring that the logged incoming queries are resolved within agreed timelines and SLA and at the level that meets the customer expectations

    Category Manager: Professional Services - Cape Town

    Purpose of the Job

    • Develop and execute sourcing and supplier relationship management strategies for specific sub-category of spend to ensure alignment with Procurement and business needs and goals and in compliance with relevant policies, practices and standards.

    •  Minimum of 3 years in a Category Manager / Senior Buyer position
    •  INCLUDING Procurement Category Management applied knowledge & experience,
    •  INCLUDING Procurement Category Sourcing Strategy Development and Implementation

    Advantageous:

    •  MCIPS Certification or equivalent
    •  Experience in commercial bid analysis & advanced negotiations
    •  Experience in Advanced Supplier Relationship Management (ASR) / Stakeholder Relationship Management
    •  INCLUDING In-direct Procurement data analytics and demand management, while always focusing on the development of the Procurement Category Strategy

    Exciting Challenges you might face in the role:

    •  Engaging with different business units at all levels within Engen.
    •  High levels of collaboration to develop supply continuity strategies for critical & high-risk commodities and services to Engen, in support of its customer value proposition.
    •  Coupa Contract Lifecycle Management in support of Procurement Category.
    •  Provide professional advice and guidance to contract owners with respect to contractual matters.
    •  Engaging with regulatory stakeholders and external participants in the oil and gas industry.
    •  Playing an active role in maintaining Engen's license to operate.

    What you’ll be doing:
    Category Management:

    •  Manage the assigned sub-category by building and executing strategic sourcing plans and category management plan supported by in-depth analysis of purchasing demand & forecasting of supplier markets, continuous development of market intelligence, price/cost structures, generate qualified & vetted suppliers bidder list and assessment criteria, execute the bidding process, drive the negotiation strategy and prepare & operationalize the contract to ensure optimal value delivery of business objectives.
    • Supplier Relationship Management:
    •  Develop and ensure sustainable and effective supplier relationship management through reliable supply base and build partnerships with strategic suppliers, lead pre-qualification assessment of potential suppliers, develop clear strategy to optimize allocation of spend across suppliers, facilitate supplier performance management and assess supplier risks, develop supplier segmentation by category, interface with senior supplier executives to set supplier management targets, manage end-to-end contract management life cycle and develop mitigation plans to ensure delivery and performance of suppliers as per agreed SLA's.
    • Procurement Savings:
    •  Deliver on sub-category savings and goals in alignment with sub-categories savings targets and operational goals with Category Head to drive execution of initiatives to achieve targets and goals.
    • Procure to Pay Process Management:
    •  Monitor and drive smooth execution of transaction process by providing visibility to business, managing, and escalating transactional risks to ensure delivery of business objectives.
    • Business Interfacing and Support:
    • Drive interactions with business to understand requirements and align on demand planning and forecasts using relevant division's business plans to develop effective procurement strategy and ensure alignment with CPO and Category Head.
