Baseline:
- At least 5 years’ experience with all of these linked to Sales, Retail, Fuel, Sales or
Marketing
- NQF 6 (BCom Degree or Diploma in Marketing/Finance/General Business OR
RPL (Recognized Prior Learning) with 10 years’ experience in the appropriate field/sector)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Deep knowledge of FMCG
- Experience working with franchise businesses
Advantageous:
- 3 years’ experience as Area Manager preferred

What You'll be doing
- Vetting of application forms, prior to sending to Financial Institution.
- Track the application until the card is issued to the user.
- Ensure all spend is valid in terms of policies & procedures and relevant Tax Authority compliance.
- Escalate non-compliant expenditure.
- Produce monthly attestation report of policy breach
- Resolve queries and exception management.
- Foster sound working relations with internal and external stakeholders
- Resolve queries in ServiceNOW and exception management (in liaison with FSSC and vendors).
- Ensure that the credit card account payments are made within the agreed terms of contract supported by the correct documentation, and policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure business controls and governance (Procurement Policy/VAT Act)
- Understand and apply regulatory framework and principles to ensure compliance with relevant Acts and regulations (Tax, Income, VAT, Environmental, Customs & Excise Act, Petroleum Products Act)

What you will be doing
A&P MARKETING AND DIGITAL STRATEGY
- Assist in the development of a national, regional and local A&P marketing and digital strategy, tactics , calendar and promotions suite to achieve growth targets
- Align planning and execution of activities with overall Engen Corporate Strategy and Communication division activities and other divisions through regular and timely input into the overall Engen Integrated Communication calendar to contribute to clear visibility of all planned Engen activity in order to maximise overall investments and protect and enhance the Engen brand
AGENCY MANAGEMENT
- Manage advertising, media and distribution agency processes and systems effectively through effective project management systems to ensure agile, relevant and effective marketing efforts
ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS
- Gather and organise information to plan adverting campaigns and develop post campaign analytics and ROI calculations for promotional activity to ensure cost effectiveness in promotional activity
- Produce monthly reports on effectiveness of marketing programmes against planned objectives
