    Head of Payer Solutions & National Accounts

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Maintain organization effectiveness through:

    • Solutions architect focused on establishing strategic Payer Partnerships (Private and Public)
    • Cultivate executive-level relationships with the top payers to identify and exploit strategic partnership opportunities that lead to Sanofi’s revenue growth across the product portfolio and Business Units
    • Evaluate current payer strategies and assess new approaches to Sanofi’s payer business including value-based strategies and affordability considerations.
    • Establishes trust-based executive-level relationships with private and public payers to identify their key needs, KPI’s, uncertainties driving decision making and potential areas for strategic collaboration. 
    • Acts as Payers’ single point of contact and representative of all Sanofi’s products across business units. Invites extended Sanofi experts to join Payer discussions
    • Provides leadership and subject matter expertise on the changing healthcare dynamics and the needs of the payer customer. Proactively shares best practices and leverages synergies across Business Units

    ABOUT YOU:

    Education/Experience/Certification:

    • Education: Business related Degree
    • Customer Centricity, with keen judgement
    • Fluency in uncertainties driving payer decision making
    • Fluency in Financial planning, Risk Management and Funding mechanisms

    EP Franchise Medical Manager – South Africa Diabetes & EP Portfolio Management Science Liaison

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Maintain organization effectiveness through:

    • Utilise strong business acumen, acting as a key strategic business partner to the organisation
    • Initiate and drive projects to raise standards of care and change clinical practice
    • Lead and drive rapid integrated evidence planning and execution through deep understanding of internal and external stakeholder evidence needs and robust data gaps analysis
    • Deep therapy area expertise and product knowledge including competitor data
    • Drive strong collaborative relationships with commercial and cross-functional teams, including marketing, value & access, health economics, regulatory and clinical
    • Drive collaborative relationships with above-country colleagues to ensure the MCO / country involvement and strategic input into global and regional plans
    • Ability to rapidly assimilate new data and integrate into the advancement in the TA particularly in diabetes scope.
    • Champion the patient voice when developing and implementing medical strategies

    ABOUT YOU:

    Education/Experience/Certification:

    • Doctorate level education: MD or equivalent Medical degree preferred, PhD or PharmD
    • Industry experience (including medical affairs field or office) and/or clinical experience, ideally with relevant Diabetes experience specially insulin Management expertise.
    • Good understanding of the continuum of data generation including clinical development, Real World Evidence (RWE) and data gaps analysis
    • Ability to act independently with a solutions-oriented and balanced approach to the grey areas
    • Implement true scientific engagement journeys by bridging channel disconnect to drive ongoing engagement and grow collaborative opportunities and meaningful scientific exchange.

    ABOU THE JOB:

    • The Market Insights capability supports commercial and marketing performance by providing efficient, integrated, and comprehensive Strategic Foresight to Stakeholders.
    • Deliver transformative Insights and Analytics, elevating processes and deliverables to be best-in-class, by implementing innovative tools and methodologies.

    As a member of the Insights & Analytics team, the Insights specialist will:

    • · Partner with Finance, Marketing Heads, Transformation Head, and Commercial Sales to deliver actionable insights addressing cross-GBU needs and ad-hoc requirements
    • · Collaborate with local Business Partners to develop a systematic framework for insights generation and action.
    • · Execute market research agenda in compliance with company policies, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
    • · Develop a comprehensive local market performance framework to support Marketing Heads' strategies with data-driven insights.

    ABOUT YOU:

    • Education Background: Bachelor's degree in administration, Marketing, or related to Data Science.
    • Pharmaceutical Business Acumen: Deep understanding of the business domain, including industry trends, market dynamics and key business drivers.

    Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in structured data manipulation, data analysis and consumption.
    • Basic knowledge of data extraction from DWH and visualization tools
    • Strong mental agility and understanding of statistical methods
    • Financial Proficiency: Interpret and use financial figures to support business decisions.
    • Hands-on experience in Competitive Market Analysis including both descriptive and predictive techniques: Market Sizing, Segmentation, Market Performance, Primary research, etc.
