    Management Accountant: Commercial Reporting

    Job Description

    • RCL FOODS is seeking a Management Accountant. The role will be based in Pretoria West Mill and reports to the Commercial Manager. RCL FOODS is looking for an individual who is analytical, has attention to detail and experienced in management accounting at a plant (Beneficial).
    • The successful incumbent will be required to conduct monthly reporting of financial performance of the Mill & Bakeries (PTA West) in the agreed format which will include commentary on key performance areas and preparation and collation of Millbake commercial analysis and reporting requirements, as well as to provide operational support to the Millbake Reporting Commercial Manager.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Management Reporting (Monthly):

    • Compile and submit monthly flash reports to Commercial Manager
    • Monthly consolidation reporting of financial performance of all the operating units in the agreed format which will include commentary on key performance areas
    • Compiling weekly and monthly performance dashboards
    • Preparation, consolidation and formatting of quarterly performance information for inclusion in Monthly/Quarterly performance decks
    • Loading of monthly Income Statement results to group platform according to group reporting deadlines
    • Perform monthly and Quarterly ROIC calculations
    • Cash flow and balance sheet reports as required
    • Adhoc commercial reporting

    Business Plan and Forecasting:

    • Support the annual business plan and quarterly forecasting processes for Baking

    • Perform regular market and industry analysis and benchmark calculations

    Information and Data management:

    • Ensure all management tools (management accounts) are accurate and complete
    • Ensure and manage the GL accounts and other system information to verify integrity
    • Input and maintain central performance reporting dashboards

    Governance:

    • Ensure that RCL Foods ethical standards and the requirements of the RPM are adhered to
    • Report and or escalate any areas of non- compliance appropriately

    • BCOM Accounting + 3 years’ experience in Reporting & Financial Analysis (Studying towards CIMA advantageous)
    • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint Reporting)
    • Syspro experience will be advantageous
    • FMCG/Manufacturing experience will be advantageous

    Governance, Risk and Authorisation Analyst

    • RCL FOODS is on the lookout for an experienced Governance, Risk, and Authorisation Analyst to join our Group Services team.

    The purpose of the role is to:

    • understand risks exposed to the business if user access is not appropriately provisioned with the correct business role.
    • have a good understanding of business processes and be able to convert these to technical specifications.
    • analyse the business requirements of the group and configure business roles with the minimum amount of risk exposure to the group.
    • advise on business risk mitigation and remediation strategies/controls for risk exposed by the business.

    User Access

    Minimum Requirements

    Qualification

    • Relevant IT/BCom degree or equivalent 3-year diploma

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Cleaning

    • Organize and manage cleaning
    • Write Cleaning SOPs in conjunction with SHEQ Administrator
    • Implement Cleaning SOPs (CSOP) in department
    • Ensure staff training and competency based on CSOPs

    Non Conformances (NCRs)

    • Investigate and document corrections and preventative actions for all internal and external NCRs
    • Ensure follow-ups are done and documented
    • Ensure NCRs are signed off with due date allocations

    Customer Complaints

    • Open internal Customer Complaint Investigation (CCI) for all customer complaints receiving from WW
    • Timeous investigation and recording of all preventative actions taken for CCs within allocated time period
    • Sign Off internal CCIs after follow up is completed

    National Account Support:
