    Planner - Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Purpose of the job

    The purpose of the planner is to manage the allocation process and plan and control stock to achieve maximum sales and profit targets.

    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities

    • In-season sales performance as well as the management of stock
    • Analysis of data to develop a pre-season business plans
    • Sales and Stock planning and allocation management 
    • Product Management (Monitor, analyse and make recommendations of product life cycles)

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS 

    • Commercial or Statistical degree or diploma

    Store Manager - PEP Mount Edgecombe (Durban)

    PURPOSE OF POSITION:

    • Leading a store team to meet business KPIs including driving sales, cost control,  mitigating risks and stock loss, administration and ensuring world class store standards. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Increase sales by focusing on customer service and world-class store standards, maintenance of the store image, stock management and promotional implementation
    • Stock loss is minimised by having a healthy store culture and following security measures, stock and cash handling procedures.
    • Manage cost according to the company low cost culture by driving efficiencies in the store.
    • Ensure administrative duties within the store are done according to the company guidelines.

    Requirements

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 12 
    • Proficient in English. 
    • Relevant tertiary education - a degree/diploma in a business/retail related field would be an advantage.

    • Computer Literate (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite - will be an advantage).

    Assistant Financial Manager

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB 

    • To ensure that all financial information and reporting needed is reliable and can be used for optimal decision-making.  

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Ensure accurate and timeous monthly, quarterly and year end management and statutory reporting
    • Produce quarterly Divisional MD Report detailing business performance
    • Maintain, monitor and update the Divisional finance calendar to deliver the relevant financial reporting

    Requirements

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS 

    • Qualified and registered member of the Institute Of Chartered Accountants, CA(SA)
    • Minimum of 3 years general accounting experience including financial and group reporting, preferably  in the retail industry 
    • Proven and applied knowledge of management accounting and reporting
    • Knowledge of retail and related KPIs and measurements
    • Business and commercial acumen
    • Service orientated and able to build and manage good interpersonal relations 
    • High levels of computer literacy, advanced excel and/or Google Sheets is essential
    • Experience with SAP beneficial

    Finance Clerk: Stores Banking - Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION 

    • To ensure that all sales and expenses are processed monthly and that all deposits made by stores are banked on a daily basis.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    •  Capturing and coding of daily cash expenses and sales returns
    •  Processing of bank statements
    •  Reconciliation of daily cash, sales returns and expenses with bank statements
    •  Reconciliation of bank statements with ledger balances
    •  Resolving of discrepancies between the sales report and the retail report
    •  General administration duties

    Manager: Security Control Room - Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Description

    • Responsible for leading how the SOC team will monitor, identify, analyze, report and react to field security operations.

    Portfolio of responsibilities will include managing the SOC Team and providing overwatch of the Field Security Operations and Client Service Delivery to ensure the Service Outcomes for customers are met within Service Level Agreement expectations.

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS 

    • Diploma in management/Diploma in security related qualification (NQF5 )
    • PSIRA A grade
    • Security systems certificate 
    • Experience 5-7 years in a control room environment
    • Experience of 7 years in a  supervisory/management capacity in managing a team
    • Drafting of procedures and work instructions 
    • Proven ability to train and guide others
    • Background/experience with Patriot systems (both monitoring and management of systems)

    Requirements
