    Associate: Client Integration

    Job Purpose

    • To provide project management and system integration services to the Corporate Investment Banking as well as Business Banking clients. This is done through directing, consulting, analysing, managing, innovating and maintaining integration projects across clusters within Nedbank. It requires application of project management principles, effective finance, human resource, internal & customer process focus and importantly key technical capabilities in order to drive the CIB strategy.

    Job Responsibilities
    Budget, Expenses & Risk Management

    • Ensure adherence to all Compliance requirements (inclusive of Regulatory & Statutory)
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve systems and processes so as to  increase Nedbank's market share in transactional banking
    • Manage financial controls ensuring no losses, fraud or interest claims
    • Implement cost reduction initiatives where possible.
    • Ensure risk is managed and mitigated where applicable

    Business Integration

    • Focus on the end-to-end Customer experience
    • Be highly aware of banking initiatives both system and Business related
    • Optimise project delivery to improve time to invoice
    • Support and fully manage projects 
    • Clearly define scopes of projects prior to any execution
    • Develop project plans / schedules
    • Identifies risks / constraints and provides solutions 

    Professional Client Relationship Building

    • Maintain professional client relationships
    • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and colleagues

    Preferred Qualification

    • Bachelor of Technology: Project Management , Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

    Essential Certifications

    • Relevant certification in PM practises or methodology (PRINCE/ PMBOK ETC)

    Minimum Experience Level

    • 4 to 5 years working in a Project Management within a Corporate and Investment Banking environment , coupled with the following:-
    • CIB Product Knowledge (Transactional banking)
    • Understanding of Bank Systems, Processes 
    • Key understanding related to Host integrations and interfaces
    • Regulatory requirements and Legislation

    Product Systems Analyst- CIB HR

    Job Purpose

    • To operate as a business support for CIB HR by formulating, analysing, communicating and validating requirements in relation to HR systems. Understanding of business problems and identifying solutions to enable CIB to achieve its goals.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Represent CIB HR in Group HR solutions.
    • Assist in defining, clarifying and clearly articulating CIB HR business requirements (with an enterprise view) in terms of the agreed approach and to ensure that CIB is compliant.
    • Provide expert knowledge on HR systems being developed, including support in the identification of defects, oversight of their resolution, and identification of areas of further improvement.
    • Seek opportunities to improve HR processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and add value to Nedbank.
    • Ensure HR system product specifications are accurate, complete and in line with all relevant standards and requirements, i.e., user procedures; technical specifications; and business requirements by reviewing and making appropriate recommendations.
    • Develop trusting relationships with internal stakeholders by ensuring that proactive communication between stakeholders and the functional team remain optimised.
    • Meet stakeholder requirements by ensuring that the product and process design (from the solution design team) is in agreement with the required business specifications.
    • Ensure work is completed to plan by adhering to agreed timelines and following the project plan.
    • Accurately identify, analyse and resolve system queries by understanding the products, processes and systems.
    • Undertake analysis of data and advise CIB HR on required clean-ups.
    • Identify any risks that system, process and other changes pose to business as usual.
    • Provide functional system support to the CIB HR community.
    • Represent CIB HR on HR2.0 technology related workstreams.

    Coordinate User Acceptance Testing to confirm that the business requirements have been delivered, and support testers throughout the testing life cycle.

    • Maintain oversight of the testing and testers throughout its duration
    • Review the test scenarios / cases to ensure they have sufficient coverage
    • Provide a recommendation that sign-off of UAT can be provided

    Lead HR Process optimisation and automation

    • Identify processes to be optimised and / or automated
    • Provide / document the “as is” process
    • Provide input into the “to be” process design, including advising what is operationally feasible
    • Be the business process owner

    Change Management

    • Provide training during the operationalisation of systems, process or other changes
    • Provide input into the artefacts and impact assessments completed by the CIB change management team
    • Ensure that all management actions have been executed before operationalising a solution

    Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

    Minimum Experience Level

    5-8 Years’ Experience In

    • Understanding systems development and systems development Life Cycle
    • Knowledge of / experience with process analysis, automation/optimisation and reporting
