    Debt Transactor - Parktown

    Minimum Requirements

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Engage with clients to understand their financial needs and objectives in order to structure suitable debt solutions.
    • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including financial modelling and due diligence, to assess the feasibility of debt transactions.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including senior advisors, legal counsel, and investment bankers, to develop tailored debt financing strategies for clients.
    • Work with our syndicate teal to identify and evaluate potential lenders, investors, or other sources of debt capital to facilitate transactions.
    • Prepare detailed financial proposals, term sheets, and other documentation required for debt financing transactions.
    • Assist in negotiations with lenders or investors to secure optimal terms and conditions for debt financing arrangements.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Intermediate knowledge of CaseWare Working Papers in the different modes (form/builder/design) is essential.
    • Smart sync knowledge is essential.

    Assist the audit department with the following responsibilities:

    • Provide CaseWare support to users including inter alia template installation, setup, connection to CW Cloud, consolidations, Connector functionality, etc. in a professional manner.
    • Create and maintain an FAQ log and prepare additional FAQs based on support requests logged.
    • Maintaining the firm’s document library, with assistance from the QC manager and Moore SA.
    • Responsible for performing the lockdown of engagement files on instruction of the relevant manager and partner.
    • Responsible for updating the necessary schedules based on lockdowns performed.
    • Follow up on engagement files that are due for lockdown in terms of the firm’s policy for archiving engagement files.
    • Manage user profiles (and related security access) on the firm’s CaseWare Cloud platform, including staff, client contacts and collaborators.
    • Create CaseWare entities on the Cloud platform as needed.
    • Manage access to locked-down engagements to limit access to those users that need it to perform their duties, without compromising confidentiality through access to the files:
    • Give access, revoke access.
    • Implement and maintain CaseWare engagement templates on instruction from the QC manager and Moore SA CaseWare Champion, which include;
    • Customise CaseView financial statement templates on instruction from the QC manager and directors.
