    Customer Support Representative (Online Health Service) - Corporate Services

    About the Job

    • Intercare Corporate Services situated in Menlyn, Pretoria, seeks to recruit a Customer Support Representative (Online Health Services).
    • The purpose of the position is to act as the first line of support for customers within Intercare’s Online Health Services, effectively managing enquiries, scheduling appointments, and facilitating seamless communication between patients and healthcare professionals.

    Critical Outouts

    • Greet and engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and empathetic manner.
    • Listen actively to customers' concerns and provide accurate information.
    • Respond promptly to customer enquiries.
    • Provide information about pricing and payment methods.
    • Help customers navigate the online platforms, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide step-by-step guidance for using the service effectively.
    • Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare professionals, relaying messages and facilitating communication as needed.
    • Collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals to schedule appointments.
    • Ensure that patient data is handled in compliance with relevant privacy regulations, such as POPIA.
    • Maintain and update patient information, medical history, and records in a secure and organized manner.

    Requirement

    • Minimum: Grade 12
    • Previous experience in a customer focused service environment, e.g. reception, call-centre will be advantageous.
    • Exposure to digital customer engagement platforms is an advantage.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes is an advantage.
    • Intermediate digital and computer proficiency.
    • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
    • GoodX system experience will be advantageous.

    Dental Assistant - Glenfair

    About the Job

    • Intercare Glenfair Medical and Dental Centre situated in Lynnwood, Pretoria seeks to recruit a Dental Assistant. The focus of this position is to assist dental professionals engaged in performing general and/or specialist dentistry and other dental procedures, as well as facilitating the patient administration process.

    Critical Outputs

    • Work within the realms of the scope of practice and knowledge base in relation to current trends and advances to maintain competency level.
    • Takes personal accountability for decisions made and actions taken and/or omissions in the course of care delivery.
    • Ensure the dental room is hygienically acceptable and that sterilization and infection control protocols are adhered to with regards to instruments and equipment.
    • Assist dentist in all clinical procedures according to branch protocol.
    • Coordinate laboratory work including but not limited to completion of lab slips, collection, returning and casting.
    • Control availability of consumables and equipment in dental room as well as the monitoring the economical usage thereof.
    • Engage and interrogate concerns brought to his/her attention in order to provide safe dental practices.
    • Ensure documentation is in accordance with the policy and within the legal framework.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality, dignity and safety at all times.
    • Ensure that the disposal of medical waste, human tissue and medicine is in accordance to legislation.
    • Ensure the efficient functioning of equipment, or reporting of any equipment failure that could pose a potential risk to patients or staff.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Completion of approved training course in dental assisting, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
    • Previous experience in a customer focused service environment will be advantageous.
    • Computer proficiency (MS Office).
    • Knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of general dentistry as applied to assisting a dentist in the treatment and care of patients.
    • Advanced knowledge of dental terminology.
    • Basic understanding of the functioning of dental healthcare environment.
    • Good knowledge and application of infection control principles and sterilization techniques.
    • Knowledge of treatment codes used in dentistry in doing quotations for advanced dentistry treatment procedures.
    • Specialised dental procedures.
    • GoodX experience will be advantageous
    • Registered with HPCSA as Registered Dental Assistant.

    • Support the Operations Manager in businesses management reporting.
    • Ensure that all staff and professionals receive relevant training.
    • Identify and facilitate resolution of platform-related issues.
    • Manage the day-to-day operational engagement and relationship with business clients such as corporates, intermediaries and funders.

    Requirements

    • Minimum: Grade 12.
    • Bachelors degree or similar qualification will be an advantage.
    • Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
    • Basic understanding of labour legislation.
    • Good understanding of financial and change management principles.
    • Advanced digital and computer proficiency, experience in working with multiple, integrated electronic or online applications or systems an advantage.

    Enrolled Nurse - Linden

    About the Job

    • A great opportunity exists at Intercare Linden Medical and Dental Centre in Randburg, Johannesburg for an Enrolled Nurse, who will be responsible to provide quality nursing care to our patients. The candidate should conduct duties with empathy, respect, and openness. The focus of the position is to perform all nursing duties in accordance with the scope of practice as prescribed by the South African Nursing Council, while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.
