    Trainee Store Manager - Clicks Meadowridge

    Job description:

    • To fully understand and to take ownership of own development towards completing the Trainee Manager programme ensuring self-readiness for sign off within 12 months.
    • To train and be found competent in all departments of the store and thereafter be able to assist the SM in such departments and in managing the store as required.

    Tax Technician

    JOB OBJECTIVES:

    • Review of monthly EMP201 submission for local and foreign companies.
    • Review of monthly VAT201 submission for local and foreign companies.
    • Ensure that company policies are in line with current employee tax and VAT legislation.
    • Address all employee’s tax related queries with the applicable revenue authority (local and foreign) as well as queries raised by divisions within the Group.
    • Assist Group Tax Manager in responding to enquiries raised by SARS on Income Tax matters.
    • Preparation of schedules in support of the income tax returns for all companies within the Group.
    • Preparation and updating of Country-by-Country Reporting and ad-hoc Transfer Pricing requirements.
    • Assist with tax related matters on various projects.
    • Research legal tax principles relating to specific matters. 

    Minimum requirements;

    JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Employee’s Tax, VAT, Income Tax & Transfer Pricing experience in a large corporate environment.
    • Strong technical financial background backed up with good experience.
    • Working knowledge of E-Filing & E@syFile compulsory.
    • Resilient and able to work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines.
    • Ability to work with large amounts of data.
    • Ability to resolve conflicts with SARS through continuous engagement.
    • Research legal principles of Tax and report to management on compliance.
    • SAP working experience advantageous.
    • High level of computer literacy and knowledge of Windows based programmes such as Excel, Word, etc.
    • Attention to fine detail.

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with postgraduate studies in taxation
    • CA(SA) advantageous
