    Storekeeper

    Purpose of the Job

    • Receive, Store, Pack and deliver material to ensure project satisfaction (material availability). In charge of physical material flow (goods reception, warehousing, line replenishment, packaging, shipping).

    Objectives

    • Apply Warehouses processes
    • Line replenishment lead time

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or N3 Certificate
    • 3-4 years’ experience working in stores
    • Valid Fork-Lift Truck certification
    • IT literate with knowledge of Word, Excel

    Responsibilities

    • Apply the businesses’ processes and best practices in the following areas:
    • Receiving goods
    • Managing Stores
    • Operation line replenishment
    • Inventory counting
    • Packaging
    • Shipment
    • IT tools for Warehouses
    • Apply the appropriate methodologies to improve the performance of the Warehouses and Operation delivery (APSYS)
    • Apply rules to operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies

    Key Performance Indicators:

    • Inventory accuracy
    • Reception / packaging time
    • Line replenishment lead time
    • Customer service level

    Quality Technician 1

    Purpose of the Job:

    • The Quality Technician manages in his/her scope of work, the actions to ensure the conformity of the product and to help the continuous improvement on quality processes. Ensure the conformity of the product and act quickly to solve quality issues.

    Key responsibilities include the following:

    • Ensure the conformity of the product delivered
    • Ensure the respect of the Control Plan and Self Inspection at each workstation.
    • Create Non Conformity Report in the GSI system and ensure the curative actions are defined.
    • Analyse and find the root cause of repetitive non compliancy / reworks – QRQC methods.
    • Update the list of defects still open – validate and close the reworks done.
    • Supply all the necessary document to complete the Delivery Log Book.

              Day to day quality actions

    • Ensure quality is built into the processes.
    • Inspect the final product before the release for delivery.
    • Define the Demerit for each inspection / product.
    • Attend the daily meeting in the workshop.
    • Defined and communicate the quality acceptance criteria at each workstation.
    • With manufacturing manager, train to use the self-inspection sheets.
    • Suggest actions to improve the quality of the final product seen by the customer, especially the repetitive defects.
    • Support manufacturing and industrial teams to apply improvement actions.
    • Train other people (quality / manufacturing / industrial) to the quality metier.

    Requirements:

    • Qualification in Quality Management or National diploma in any engineering discipline, SAQC Level 2 Welding Inspector, NDT Level 2 Dye Penetrant testing
    • Technical knowledge with 2 to 4 years’ welding inspection experience preferably in the railway industry, in quality, ideally in an international organization.
    • General railway and Train knowledge.
    • Working knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
    • Conscientious.  Meets proposed deadlines.
    • Teamwork capacity. Supports team members, spirit of “Team Trust Action”.
    • Desire to learn and develop. Continuous improvement.
    • Logical and organized. Keeps 5S in working place.
    • Communication and writing capabilities. Can exchange results and agree strategies.
