    Executive Head: CVM Prepaid Base Management

    Role purpose:

    • EHOD Prepaid CVM Base Management is responsible for defining and executing the prepaid strategy as it relates to base management, cross-sell, and up-sell. This involves leading and managing a team of up to 5 direct reports and a department of 10 to 15 staff to achieve CVM strategic and commercial objectives.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Define, consolidate, and obtain approval for annual and quarterly Customer Value Management strategy / commercial roadmap
    • Input into the Consumer Business Unit and Vodacom strategy / commercial roadmap
    • Execute and deliver on the Customer Value Management strategy and commercial roadmap
    • Responsible for delivering P&L and key commercial targets for specific consumer segments
    • Customer Lifecycle Management throughout all stages of the customer lifecycle – acquisition, x/up/deep-sell of products and services, customer retention and win-back

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:
    Must have technical / professional qualifications:

    • 3-year Degree or National Diploma in mathematics, statistics, engineering, informatics, or other relevant degree essential and
    • A minimum of 8-10+ years relevant working experience essential inclusive of:
    • 2 years people leadership experience (essential)
    • Direct and/or traditional Marketing (essential)
    • Telecommunication industry (advantageous)

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

    • Deep understanding of direct marketing applications and principles
    • Excellent knowledge of advanced analytics principles in a marketing environment
    • Experience working in a commercial role with P&L accountability

    Senior Credit Controller

    Role purpose:

    • The purpose of the role is to manage the Corporate Vodacom Business credit collection portfolio and ensure that the accounts are paid when due.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • To allocate cash payments timeously of customer accounts
    • To reduce past due debt
    • To minimise bad debt
    • To follow up on non-payments
    • To negotiate payments on accounts
    • To collect 100% of billing targets
    • To liaise with 3rd parties to resolve account disputes involves meetings and negotiation with HODs, Financial Managers, FD,s
    • Ability to liaise with EHODS & Executives

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Matric – Essential
    • Credit Management (advantageous)
    • 2-5 years of Credit control experience (Corporate Accounts)
    • 1-2 Year Financial reconciliation experience (Large accounts in excess of R100m)
    • 1-2 Year Financial reconciliation experience (Large accounts in excess of 1000 transactions)
    • 1-2 Years in managing large accounts in excess of R100m
    • 1-2 Years in managing accounts with high number of transactions (in excess of 1000 transactions)
    • Experience in dealing with 3rd Parties to resolve account disputes
    • Experience in dealing with EHODS, Exec Heads & other key stakeholders

    Job Related Skill:

    • Interpersonal skills
    • Negotiation (ability to liaise with CEO’s, FM’s and IT Managers, EHODS & exec Heads
    • Excellent communication skills (Written & verbal)

    Senior Specialist Prepaid Analytics and Commercial Management

    Role purpose:

    • As a Senior Specialist Prepaid Analytics and Commercial Management your role will require you to work closely with various stakeholders to assist in conceptualisation campaigns and products and analysing direct marketing campaigns, as well as to identify and present results. Your role will also require you to analyse competitor activities and ideate appropriate responses to minimise the risks of pricing changes and to ensure subscriber volumes are maintained.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Exploratory analytics in collaboration with commercial Experts to deliver on key KPIs
    • Analyse and keep record of competitor activities, ideate, and implement responses and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of responses.
    • Prepare high quality presentations on the performance of various initiatives and present to Exco.
    • Experience in SQL or equivalent mandatory.
    • Commercially inclined with an inclination towards creativity and curiosity.
    • Persuasive mindset with the ability to make a solid argument in order to steer decisions into a particular direction.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Matric essential and
    • A relevant 3 year degree or National Diploma essential in BSc, BCom, Engineering, Analytics or related and
    • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience essential
    • Expert using SQL, Excel, powerpoint, or similar tools
    • Pricing and commercial management.
