    Senior Specialist: Internal Audit

    Role purpose:

    • To conduct Internal Audits across the Vodacom Group of Companies & manage audit teams for specific audit projects.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Conducting internal audits across the Vodacom Group of Companies.
    • Manage audits and team members when assigned as team leader on the audit.
    • Assist in evaluating team members' performance on audits
    • Assist in special projects and investigations when the need arise.
    • Keep abreast of latest technology in the field of internal audit.
    • Assist with quality control in internal audit.
    • Compliance with Internal Audit Methodology and month-end procedural requirements (i.e. issue tracking and closure)

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Minimum of 5 years of Audit experience (Essential) 
    • Internal Audit experience (advantage).  
    • Experience in auditing in the telecommunications industry (advantage).
    • General IT Controls  experience
    • CIA (Essential)

    Senior Specialist Business Analyst-Lending

    Role purpose:

    • The Senior Specialist: Business Analyst role based within Vodacom Financial Services.

    The role of the Senior Specialist: Business Analyst is to:

    • Play a crucial part in ensuring the success of our Digital Operating Model; helping us to become a leading digital financial services company To ensure that user requirements for the business are technically understood, documented, developed, tested and delivered on in line with user expectations within an agile environment
    • This role is responsible for creating and estimating business requirements, user and technical stories

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Supporting the Portfolio Managers in all research, scoping, analysis and design activities
    • Have a dotted reporting line of all BAs within the lending team. Ensuring that there is sufficient BA capacity within the squads and assist with the day-day management of the Business Analysts across the lending department. To perform business analysis and design activities by assessing requirements for the Lending team in Financial services in terms of feasibility, impact and cost, thereby assisting to create and compile accurate user stories, derivation of business rules, customer journeys, MVPs and ensure this is well documented. 
    • Estimate user and technical stories to help inform and prioritize backlog To provide technical input into system definition and design activities and facilitate the delivery of value added solutions.
    • To research / investigate current industry trends and standards in terms of technologies deployed / planned to be deployed and how that can enhance / optimise systems.
    • To act as a technical liaison between business and the technical teams and to ensure the required support from all areas to ensure delivery of quality solutions.
    • To ensure that projects are delivered according to requirements, specified designs and that the technical and business teams are aligned around the same objectives and deliverables.
    • To ensure that solutions are delivered through the agile delivery processes and to support the technical scrum teams with the delivery of solutions e.g. facilitation of configuration, testing, rollout coordination To research, define and maintain industry best practices
    • To maintain, re-evaluate, optimise or automate existing business processes

     

    • To create reports and feedback to executive and line management To perform quality assurance across business analysis documentation, vendor documentation, proposals, technical designs, test documentation and operational handover documentation
    • To partake in all of the key agile ceremonies within the team in order to contribute to the successful delivery

    Business Analyst

    Role purpose:

    • Analyse requirements and provide solutions that enable the achievement of goals, the provision of services and the finding of business, information and process efficiencies across the Insurance business on behalf of the various requirement stakeholders.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Identify and prioritise the business requirements.
    • Interpret the business requirement in line with operational requirements and define what data and information is required which includes the correct method of analysis to be performed and reports to be generated.
    • Provide expert analytical knowledge in the line of business area addressed and ensure that the data access tools/components support the analysis and decision support requirements.
    • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse business requirements to deliver analysis and solution artefacts as needed. 
    • Develop business requirement specifications according to standard templates
    • Analyse business requirements to deliver i.e. business requirements, business processes, business rules, use cases, functional requirements, and GUI, Screen and solution designs
    • System Support
    • Document Business Processes
    • Suggest possible solutions, process and enhancements 

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Relevant degree or Recognised Business Analysis Certification 
    • 5 years’ minimum proven industry related experience interacting directly with end users, in similar position in the telecoms environment., AND
    • 2 year experience in management or supervising a technical team or a business functional team of at least 5 people
