Job Description

• TWK Motors, part of the TWK Agri Group, has the following vacancy available: Technician at Standerton, Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Repair and servicing of vehicles according to dealer / distributer standards and with the flat rate time
• Establish parts required for service / repair to be performed and ensured correct parts are ordered
• Report to Service Manager promptly on any additional work required
• Obtain authorization prior to carrying out any additional work
• Advise Management prior to fitting any major parts outside the norm for routine servicing / repair
• Obtain technical information from Services Manager on problem jobs
• Adhere strictly to technical specifications as laid down by manufacturer or as instructed by Management
• Adhere to laid down workshop policies and procedures
• Note the description of all work performed on the back of Repair Order if required
• Place all used parts in plastic bag, except oil & fuel filters and place on passenger floor
• All warranty replaced parts to be tagged according to laid down rules and handed to Parts Department
• Ensure all oils and parts used are booked out on Repair Order
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean as possible and use all protective items supplied
• Ensure workbay is kept safe, clean and tidy
• Ensure time started and completed are entered on Repair Order
• Report any faulty and/or broken equipment to Management
• Ensure all special tools and equipment are used with utmost care
• To possess a complete set of tools, as per distributor requirements, and maintain in good working order
• Ensure a neat appearance at all times - overalls to be changed after heavy repairs
• Accept responsibility for apprentices / helpers and impart through training / explanation / practice, the necessary skills required to perform the job correctly and thereafter to inspect / monitor the work and rectify any problems
• Maintain cordial relationship with workshop staff

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Computer literate
• Qualified motor mechanic

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Assist in the repair and servicing of vehicles according to dealer / distributor standards and within the flat rate time allowed
• Together with journeyman, establish parts required for service / repair to be performed and ensured correct parts are ordered
• Report to journeyman / technician promptly on any additional work required
• Obtain authorization prior to carrying out additional work or dismantling components
• Obtain technical information from journeyman / technician on problem jobs
• Adhere strictly to technical specifications as laid down by manufacturer, or as instructed by journeyman
• Adhere to laid down workshop policies and procedures
• Note the description of all work performed on the back of Repair Order if required
• Place all used parts in plastic bag, except oil & fuel filters, and place on passenger floor

• TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Clerk: Legal within the Financial Services division in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Contact debtors to collect on accounts which are in default
• Prepare legal correspondence and documentation
• Handle questions or complaints
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Arrange payments, negotiate AOD’s and account settlements
• Recover delinquent debt by instructing external attorneys to institute legal action
• Track and report progress of litigation matters
• Marketing of debt collection services

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Completed LLB-Degree / Credit Management or related field
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a legal/collections environment (advantageous)
• Experience in customer care (advantageous)
• Knowledge of the National Credit Act
• Professional registration with the relevant professional body
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Swordfish experience (advantageous)
• File management
• Valid driver’s license
