    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Support in providing infrastructure, tools and frameworks used to deliver end-to-end solutions to business problems. Build scalable infrastructure for supporting the delivery of business insights from raw data sources with a focus on collecting, managing, analysing, visualising data and developing analytical solutions.  Responsible for expanding and optimising the organisations data and data pipeline architecture, whilst optimising data flow and collection to ultimately support data initiatives.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • First Degree in Information Studies, Information Technology.

    Experience

    • 3-4 years experience with data monitoring tools: Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL), Kibana etc. Experience with relational SQL databases, including Postgres. Experience with BI tools: Qlik, Power BI, etc. Knowledge of AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift.  Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Salesforce, Power Automate, etc.

    Analyst, Financial Client Coverage Finance

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    To effectively support the relevant Financial Insights Lead (FIL) in the provision of high quality analytics and insights to the respective Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Business Head. This role will help the FIL enable the business to drive business performance and ensure the delivery of operational plans and Business Unit (BU)/Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) strategy by communicating the financial performance of the business at a Global, portfolio, legal entity  and regional level, with a product and client view.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Qualification required

    • CA (SA) or CIMA
    • Honours Degree in Finance and Accounting 

    Experience required

    • 5 -7 years experience in advising and collaborating with individuals in both front office finance and business positions in banking or a similar industry, allowing the individual to have gained a more broad insight into banking or similar industry’s key activities and processes
    • Producing high quality regular reporting and additional analysis which will include the provision of insight via commentary. This will have allowed the individual to have a deep understanding of key drivers which influence typical management decisions, specifically within the banking or similar industry
    • Production and delivery of planning, budgeting and forecasting within banking or similar industry. In addition, experience is required in having provided financial oversight in the creation and review of business cases.
