    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • To manage existing products & services as well as creating and integrating new products and product changes.
    • Stakeholder Management across Life portfolios
    • Manage EcoSystem integrations (Segment)
    • Execution of future Ready strategy for Life portfolio into the bank channels.
    • To ensure the successful implementation of new products in new and existing channels/platforms.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or management or equivalent.

    Credit Evaluation Manager - Johannesburg

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Assessment and evaluation of lending applications for clients (individuals and businesses) based on sound credit risk and affordability assessments, financial principles and credit policies which will support growth of the asset book of the bank and manage credit losses by ensuring sound lending credit principles are applied at all times and that lending is within the Bank’s risk appetite parameters.

    Loss Adjustor, Short Term Insurance Claims

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • A Claims Loss Adjustors is designated for the sole purpose of assessing and establishments of facts on the actual incident that gave rise to damages and the claim of any loss class they are appointed on and ensure the validity is within the policy cover.
    • The process begins where the Loss Adjusting skill is called upon after registration of a claim by the claims floor on the system for allocation of a Loss Adjustor.
    • A Loss Adjustor will then be chosen based on his/her area of operations as Loss Adjustors are differentiated based on areas and regions they cover.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Diploma in Forensic Investigation/Risk Management/Fraud Detection or related studies
    • 3-5 years’ experience in Claims Investigations or Validations
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Short-Term Insurance industry
    • Experience within Commercial and Personal Lined Motor and Non-Motor Claims is advantageous

    • Adapt and Execute on Data and Information Governance requirements such as exercising data ownership and ensuring that high standard of data quality is upheld. Responsible for ensuring that data and information is used, accessed and stored according to data and information governance requirements, policies, standards, processes and procedures. 

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology / Information Studies or related qualification
    • 5-7 Years experience in data role with understanding of data, risk, data architecture, data governance, data analysis, data validation and metadata management. Sound knowledge and understanding of data life cycle. Operational execution of data/metric standards and data quality rules.  Experience having planned, developed and executed enterprise information management framework, to improve accuracy, integrity and accessibility of information. 
    • 8-10 Years understanding of and experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving skills and awareness of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).  Understands data flows between systems, ETL and processing of structured and unstructured data within the data architecture.  
    • 8-10 Years experience in banking and related regulatory/governance standards to provide high quality data having planned, implemented, integrated and controlled activities/processes to ensure availability, usability, integrity, compliance and security of data. 
    • Experience within the Standard Bank Group will be advantageous.

    QUALIFICATIONS
