PURPOSE OF THE JOB

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

BUSINESS PROCESSES
- Housekeeping on the tap floor and general plant cleaning
- Preparing the tap floor, launders, and auxiliaries for tapping molten material
- Operating the tapping drill
- Operating the mud gun
- Tapping the furnace to recover the smelted product
- Taking of samples and temperature with QRT’s
- Cleaning of launders during tapping to prevent build-up
- Slinging equipment, refill mudgun with paste and operating of overhead cranes
- Be prepared to work in a hot and dusty environment
