    Trade Engagement Executive, System Support

    Job description

    Closing date 25 July 2017

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • Responsible for data integrity and integration of Digital Tools with the Back Office, the FSF and the internal analytics platform. Build, manage and deliver trainings for the Back Office and FSF so as to continuously create data for analysis and action. Improve the performance of the Digital Platforms through ongoing engagement with OC and local IS, ensuring long term platform stability.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Data Integrity
    • Overall data exchange management (Back office-FSF-Retailer)
    • Collaborate with Local and OC IS Departments to manage and implement changes and upgrades to Digital Platforms
    • Manage master store list data with Commercial Planning and IS, creating a seamless link between current and future interfaces
    • Develop retail communication strategy
    • Manage FSF and Retailer Change Management conversion through new and innovative training methodologies
    • Lead change management trainings in all regions, driving the understanding of the DTE platforms from a technical aspect
    • Reduce the uncovered base within South Africa
    • Collaborate with local agencies to establish a digital strategy for the uncovered Informal Trade Base in South Africa
    • Collaborate with IS and sales to pilot and then integrate the solution into the PMSA analytics tool
    • Develop recommendation for improving interaction, visibility and digital strategy adoption
    • Drive the adoption of Digital Solutions within and outside of the Organization
    • Develop local change agents within the business as Digital / OPEN Experts
    • Use a multi-channel approach to build the required technical knowledge in the new solution so as to ensure change and adoption of the platform
    • Build and deliver trainings in consultation with internal stakeholders, to the Field Sales Force and Back Office Sales Support Staff
    • Develop engagement tools to continually educate and sell the benefit of our digital platforms
    • Reporting and Analytics
    • Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure relevant reports are developed and presented in the best way
    • Liaise with OC to stay aware of any new plug-in capabilities that may be relevant to South Africa

    SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

    Education

    • Tertiary education (National Diploma or Degree) in business related field

    Work Experience

    • Experience in system management and IS
    • 2-3 years’ experience within FMCG sales

    Maintenance Technician

    Job description

    The following position has become available in our Operations division, based at our Boksburg Factory, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • Provide support to production by optimizing the mechanical & electrical conditions in secondary assets in order to ensure maximization of production and product quality according to PMI standards.
    • Provide technical & electrical directions to production in order to ensure continuous and reliable operation.
    • Improve technical & electrical methods/procedures and optimize reliability cost.
    • Collect and share best practices so as to improve technical/electrical skills and equipment life cycle.
    • Actively participate in problem-solving activities and asset improvement projects.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABLITIES
    • Provide technical/electrical guidelines and support to Production Supervisor in order to optimize and ensure equipment mechanical/electrical reliability. Execute adjustments and maintenance activities and startups so as to solve any operational difficulties, improve the quality of the product and decrease reject rate. Perform resources coordination and activities planning.
    • Analyze the key performance indicators related to Secondary assets so as to ensure continuous improvement and implementation of specification plans. Execute Root Cause Failure Analysis, complete needed reports and take proper actions based on the analysis to solve technical/electrical issues.
    • Reduce maintenance cost through maintenance optimization, spare parts consumption and re-inspection, continuous improvement, and out-source services. Give proposals and participate to optimize inventory in terms of efficient MRP setting, categorizing spare parts, minimizing lacks and optimizing spare parts stock levels.
    • Guide the team’s efforts toward development and implementation of team concept and ensure that standard procedures and work instructions are followed.
    • Provide supportive coaching to other Millwrights/technicians. Support and replace production Operators when needed. Cooperate with team members and Production Team Leaders in order to accomplish productivity, quality and safety objectives. Develop and utilize an external network of partners and functional experts within PMI and local market.
    • Support and coordinate new materials testing and any compliance activities linked to secondary assets.
    • Respect all job requirements concerning EHS procedures. Provide new ideas to improve safety conditions and actively participate to implement them.
    • Promotes and ensures good safety and work practices through Training / Setting an example / Monitoring of safety activities and Good Housekeeping/ 5S in the area.
    • Cable installation, lightning, installation and re-wiring of plant and machinery. Switch gear installation, Fault finding and rectification, Fault finding and rectification, Repairing to portable equipment, To sort out breakdowns, To sort out breakdowns, Design and plan circuits and implementation, Assist fitters and factory on ad hoc basis

    EDUCATION

    • Trade Qualification as Millwright or combine Mechanical and Electrical
    • Post-matric qualification and further training in Engineering Studies will be an advantageWORK

    EXPERIENCE

    • Overall Experience Mechanical & Electrical Engineering,
    • Automation, Maintenance and Workshop activities

    Specific Experience

    • Life-cycle asset management skills,
    • Machine elements,
    • Secondary equipment, conveying systems,
    • 3 years’ experience as a Millwright in FMCG Preference will be given to EE candidates.
