    Executive Personal Assistant

    Purpose of the Position:

    • To ensure that the executive stays organized and supports them in ensuring that the business runs smoothly
    • To work closely with top executives providing high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing reports, handling information requests, and performing administrative duties such as general correspondence, hosting guests, coordinating meetings, and extensive schedule management.

    Personal Assistance

    • Maintain an up to date, orderly and logical filing system that can be easily accessed by relevant individuals

    Meeting Management

    • Analyse meeting requirements, prepare required information and advise the CEO / Executives

    Event management

    • Arrange functions and events according to requirements upon request by the CEO / Executives
    • Determine a budget amount for these events
    • Send invitations to CEO’s / Executive’s invitees in advance
    • Make sure that all hotels, travel and forex arrangements are on track and arranged as requested

    Operational support

     Qualifications

    • Essential: Diploma level educational qualification
    • Preferred: Degree

     Experience

    • A minimum of 3-5 years’ Secretarial/Office Administrative experience or Equivalent
    • Analyze monthly and weekly plans and determine required amount of meetings, logistics, attendees, etc.
    • Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations, etc. as requested by CEO / Executives
    • Carry out background research and present findings to the CEO /

    • Ensure that the CEO’s schedule is planned in advance and that the calendar/diary is up to date and efficiently managed as changes occur
    • Request necessary data from management so that reports can be compiled
    • Screen phone calls, e-mails and messages either through first line
    • response or forwarding as appropriate
    • Process incoming correspondence and action as required, e.g.
      • Update calendar
      • Type documentation
      • Distribute / forward information
      • Internal and external queries
    • Maintain stakeholder database and ensure that all information is accurate and up to date
    • Regularly check resource supplies to ensure sufficient stock
    • Schedule meetings as planned or requested
    • Ensure that an agenda is sent to all delegates, both with standard agenda items as well as any items that need to be included for follow up as a result of actions documented in previous meetings
    • Ensure that delegates are aware of what they need to prepare in terms of contribution to the meeting
    • Compile documentation required and distribute in advance to delegates
    • Arrange logistical requirements and ensure smooth running of the meetings
    • Take minutes of meetings and ensure accuracy and timeous distribution

    Head of Marketing

    Purpose of the Position

    • To define the marketing strategy for SuperSport and guide the implementation thereof
    • Develop and manage all aspects of the marketing function.

    • Formulate and Implement an on-air marketing Strategy
    • Develop and implement creative, advertising, media and promotional campaigns for SuperSport channels
    • Develop and drive a content marketing strategy and roadmap; determining key priorities and investments based on marketing leading practice
    • Ensure successful execution of Marketing strategies for SuperSport

    Operational Delivery

    • Develop and manage creative marketing initiatives in support of organisation's range of activities
    • Align the organisation internally around marketing, brand, and customer objectives
    • Guide and direct the development and execution of through-the-line marketing communications across all touchpoints
    • Manage advertising agency and marketing consultants
    • Guide and direct the design, development, and deployment of campaigns to specific markets
    • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, and ensure that these are designed, developed and launched within the given time-frames
    • Ensure consistent brand messaging across the organisation to optimize ROI and brand health
    • Together with Multichoice Customer services identify new markets for potential growth and understand potential growth estimates and growth drivers for those territories
    • Rigorously monitor Marketing performance against approved budgets and put measures in place to address variances; Continuously identify areas for improved efficiency
    • Manage annual budgeting and forecasting exercises.

    • Constantly scan the market in order to identify, share and embed leading practices within MultiChoice, helping to build a world class marketing organisation and maintain market relevance
    • Identify key segments to target, including rationale/strategic objectives, and use customer insights to perform cluster analysis; classifying customers into segments based on spending, behavior, needs and attitudes 

    People Management

    • Develop a high performing team by embedding formal performance development and informal coaching
    • Encourage frequent knowledge-sharing between team members
    • Determine and analyze development needs for the team and ensure that identified training requirements are budgeted for and executed
    • Create effective workforce and recruitment demand plans to ensure that current and future business requirements are met
    • When required, initiate disciplinary processes for team members and resolve grievances raised by team members and escalate only if required
    • Address poor performance of any team member through the formal Performance Improvement programme and ensure that continued poor performance is appropriately dealt with
    • Motivate team members and ensure that their efforts are recognized
    • Provide regular constructive feedback on the performance of individual team members

    Qualifications Essential:

    • Post Graduate degree in Marketing/Commerce/Business Management/Related Field
    • An MBA would be advantageous

    Experience

    • A minimum of 10 years experince in a commerce, business administration or sales and marketing leadership role
    • Detailed commercial and financial acumen, balanced with creative flair
