    Project Coordinator

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    • The Project Coordinator will be part of a centralised pool, providing flexible project coordination services to the Solution Optimisation Teams (SOT) and other internal teams as required.  They will work exclusively with existing clients, focussing on managing a high volume of smaller tasks and projects that contribute to service revenue.  Reporting to the Operations Team Manager, the Project Coordinator will prioritise and balance workloads across multiple teams, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of services.

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Own all stages of project delivery, from contracting via a statement of work (SoW) to final delivery and invoicing
    • Identify opportunities through direct client interaction, as well as referrals from Professional Services, Support or the Sales teams
    • Scope and estimate work based on client requirements
    • Prepare SoWs, secure internal approvals and obtain confirmation when necessary
    • Follow up with clients on issued SoWs, assisting in expediting SoWs, orders and resolving queries in coordination with Project and Account Managers
    • Ensure accurate recording of signed SoWs in CRM systems 
    • Set up and manage new projects using internal systems and tools, such as OpenAir, while adhering to company processes and standards
    • Assign work to Project Managers or oversee execution while coordinating with consultants as needed
    • Close projects and finalise invoicing and reporting
    • Track and achieve business targets, including KPIs related to SoWs, project delivery, and client satisfaction

    REQUIREMENTS:  

    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities
    • Assertiveness and professional communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with both internal teams and clients
    • Strong client relationship management skills and ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
    • Experience in developing commercially sound client proposals and SoWs
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
    • Understanding of monthly KPIs, business targets, and performance metrics
    • Prior experience in Professional Services, IT consulting or project management is a plus
    • Knowledge of Salesforce.com is an advantage

    Operations Manager

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    • MRI Software is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead a team of approximately 14 back-office professionals providing shared services to the EMEA Professional Services department.  The role requires strong leadership, operational management, and coordination to ensure the delivery of high-quality services in operations, project coordination, and PMO services. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Professional Services in South Africa, with a dotted line to the Operations Director in EMEA, and will play a key role in building a high-performing team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Team leadership and people management, focusing on fostering a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence
    • Oversee the hiring, training, ongoing development, and performance management of team members
    • Inspire and ensure the team delivers operational, project coordination, and PMO services at the highest standard and to meet organisational objectives
    • Continuously monitor performance metrics and processes to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gain and suggest corrective actions where necessary
    • Drive commonality of approach and service delivery across the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with global strategies
    • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders within the EMEA Professional Services department, ensuring expectations are managed, and issues are resolved in a timely manner
    • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on team performance, key challenges, and opportunities
    • Collaborate closely with the Operations Director for EMEA to shape, develop, and support the scaling of services and operational models as the needs of the business evolve

    REQUIREMENTS:  

    • 5+ year experience in operations, project management, or shared services roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team management capacity
    • Strong understanding of back-office operations, project coordination, and PMO services
    • Proven experience in motivating and leading diverse teams, fostering high-performance cultures, and delivering operational excellence
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and maintain a client-centric focus
    • Excellent communication, documentation, organisational, presentation and problem-solving skills
    • Familiarity with resource management, with a focus on process optimisation, improvement, and efficiency
    • Experience working in a global or multi-regional environment is a plus
