    Junior Data Analyst Mr Price Foundation - Durban

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide support with interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports to the Jumpstart Analyst and Programme Owner. 
    • Review regional clusters to determine feasibility of clusters against demand requirements of Employer Partners.   
    • Analysis regional Jump Start pool lists to identify any trends, risks and opportunities and make necessary recommendations to address accordingly. (supply analysis)
    • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems - skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining and generation. Additionally, transforming data into readable, goal-driven reports for continued innovation and growth
    • Prepare reports for the Jumpstart Analyst and Programme Owner. 
    • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities, applying research and thorough data collection to ensure continued success of programme. 
    • Conduct adhoc admin functions as and when necessary.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in data analytics role    
    • Bcom - Developmental Economics, Mathemtics, Statistics / Data Science 
    • Experience creating detailed reports 
    • CSI/Socio Economic experience is advantageous

    • To supervise departmental DC associates ensuring time keeping and attendance is met.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Team Leadership:

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure all SQL Server instances are backed up in a way that meets the business’s Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and perform regular restore testing.
    • Ensure maximum uptime on SQL Server instances and ensure recovery times meet business’ Recovery Time Objectives (RTO)

    Strategy Development:

    • Use insights from analysis of past store sales and develop merchandise store plans that equate to profitable sales for future seasons in order to maximize the business strategy across stores.

    • With the Planner, analyse trade in the current season in order to identify opportunities to maximize sales across stores.     Stock Management:

    • Track and manage store cover ratios within the Sub-departments to ensure the correct cover ratios across stores to maximize allocation of stock. Review service levels to ensure correct stock level by size in all stores.                                                               

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education:

    • Degree in Degree in Business, Supply Chain and/or Finance related.

    Store Manager Mr Price - Northern Cape

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Stock Management:

    • Ensure that stock is accurately received & unpacked to merchandise and replenish the sales floor.
    • Monitor and manage stock levels through defined processes to mitigate risks (stock loss) and ensure adequate stock on hand.
    • Oversee the overall maintenance of the stockroom to meet housekeeping standards.
