    SADC Relationship Account Manager

    Description and Requirements

    • Our ideal candidate will have a passion driving new business development and to provide exceptional customer service. You will be part of the end-user Relationship sales team that is responsible for the Commercial & Public Sectors in SADC.
    • This role forms part of a dynamic team driven by the highest discipline for success. It will also allow you to bring your entrepreneurial abilities with the flexibility and agility to empower decision making and influencing in execution of all responsibilities.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in managing relationships and converting leads into sustainable sales in the public sector.
    • Strong sales experience, preferably in the IT industry, with a university degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field being highly preferred.
    • Excellent technical IT product knowledge in both the end-user computing environment and the enterprise ecosystem, with a solution-selling approach.
    • Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining customer and partner relationships, with experience in managing senior executive relationships.
    • High level of experience in project management, problem-solving, and ability to identify and prioritize opportunities.
    • Ability to work in a diverse environment with internal and external customers, and collaborate effectively with a virtual team.
    • Computer literacy in MS Office suite and experience with CRM systems (preferably MSD or similar).
    • English language proficiency with knowledge of Portuguese being highly preferable.

    Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated success in managing customer relationships for the SADC region, driving growth, and achieving revenue and wallet share targets.
    • Proven ability to lead account planning, opportunity identification, and conduct complex negotiations with assigned accounts.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate and coordinate solutions in a team-oriented environment.
    • Experienced in achieving set sales targets, including value, volume, profitability, and new customer development.
    • Ability to prepare action plans and schedules for sales projections and target identification.
    • Comfortable traveling up to 20% of the time within the country and having experience in customer-facing roles.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives, demonstrating a target-driven mindset and a track record of fulfilling KPIs.

    PAM - Partner account manager

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in partner relationship management, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and resellers.
    • Demonstrated ability in sales planning and strategy, with a track record of achieving revenue targets and expanding product presence within partner portfolios.
    • Strong background in business development, identifying new business opportunities, emerging trends, and market shifts to drive growth.
    • In-depth product knowledge, particularly in the technology sector, with the ability to effectively communicate value propositions to partners.
    • Experience in deal management, including handling sales opportunities, quotes, and orders with timely and accurate processing.
    • Conflict resolution skills, with a demonstrated ability to resolve partner-related issues effectively and maintain communication.
    • Proficiency in reporting and analytics, with the ability to track sales performance and provide insights to improve partner engagement.
    • Capability to facilitate training and enablement, ensuring partners are well-informed on product offerings.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven track record of aligning reseller opportunities to distributors, specifically within the South African market.
    • Extensive experience in business development and relationship management within the distribution and reseller channels.
    • Demonstrated success in generating and increasing opportunities to maximize sales within the channel.
    • Strong ability in sales forecasting and strategic planning, particularly on a quarterly basis.
    • Experience in facilitating training and product knowledge sessions for sales teams and partners.
    • Proficient in implementing, executing, and tracking sales targets and marketing activities per quarter.
    • Ability to assist resellers with aligning the correct products to client requests, including competitive pricing strategies.
    • Skilled in leading, motivating, coaching, and developing sales teams, with experience in managing the Lenovo SMB product portfolio.
