    ISG Sales Executive

     

    • We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to focus on Acquisition Sales and join our Infrastructure Solutions team. We see a lot of business opportunities across the Southern African region, and we will trust you to identify potential customers, develop trustworthy relationships and build Lenovo’s portfolio. You will represent our brand and collaborate with the other internal sales teams to grow Lenovo’s market share- the perfect way to boost your commercial skills.

    Your detailed responsibilities are:

    • Acquire new corporate and public accounts in the South Africa and SADC - you will be responsible for revenue, the share of wallet, and customer satisfaction and driving growth in assigned accounts
    • Plan, facilitate, and/or conduct complex negotiations for assigned accounts
    • Generate and coordinate solutions with other functions or team members to solve complex problems
    • Prepare status reports, including Forecast sheet, activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
    • Perform contract management functions
    • Establish and maintain professional relationships as a trusted advisor with current and
    • potential clients

    Organization

    • You will report to our ISG Country Manager supporting customers in Southern Africa. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings.

    Position Requirements:

    • 8-10 years’ experience in the field of sales of IT- hardware products
    • Familiarity with building professional relationships with the enterprise and public sector in the Southern African region
    • Entrepreneurial personality, customer focused, and able to deliver exceptional solutions well beyond customer expectations

    Retail Account Manager

     

    • Retail Account Manager is responsible for the Lenovo relationship within the assigned retail and consumer partner segment and leads with all account management requirements. The purpose of the role is to develop the Lenovo Business by aligning goals and strategies with those of the Retail/Consumer Partner to jointly grow a profitable computing business.

    These are your detailed responsibilities:

    • Driving strategic engagement with the Partners to maximize sales and market share
    • Building strong relationships with the retail channel and promoting Lenovo End to End solutions focusing on PC, Notebooks, Android Tablets, Services, Visuals and Accessories.
    • Creating Sales Funnels and managing the Sales Pipeline with Channel Retail Partners
    • Executing and managing quarterly sales and marketing activities through retail base
    • Execute on Business reviews with key partners Quarterly
    • Establishing professional working relationships (up to the executive level) with partners, focusing on owners and decision makers
    • Work closely with the field account management team across South Africa focusing on trade marketing and sales execution

    Organization

    • You will report to our Consumer Team Leader supporting retail partners in South Africa. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings.

    What you’ll bring/ Position Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience Account Management in Distribution on Vendor roles
    • University degree preferred (Business Management/Marketing)
    • Understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel.
    • Relationship management and influencing skills
    • Ability to present, Power point and Excel knowledge
    • Ability to meet targets and deadlines
