    Project Director

    Job description

    Purpose of the position:

    To provide advising services for Global Telecom Operators in transformation approach, programs initiation and enterprise architecture governance.

    Responsibilties:

    • Provide expert assistance and guidance to the individual Project Managers with the Program.
    • Act as the key internal interface between the project teams, and Huawei Executive management teams.
    • Define and implement the overall program, structure, strategy and approach, including the program plan and interdependencies and critical success factors, structure for Program and Project, as set out in Huawei Delivery methodology.
    • Manage a multi-disciplinary team to drive the program to achieve the intended business outcomes against the defined critical success factors.
    • Manage 3rd Party relationships to ensure delivery across the program.
    • Ensure the program work-streams are effectively defined and planned and aligned to the overall program.
    • Manage the key interdependencies within the program and those external to the program.
    • Manage changes in program direction, scope, costs and timing.
    • Provide direction for all program level risks and issues.
    • Define, implement and manage the program governance to ensure effective reporting and communication are in place

    Competencies, Skills and Experience

    The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

    • Strong leadership and vision.
    • Demonstrated expert skills in program development and execution.
    • Skill in coordinating activities, evaluating data, and establishing priorities.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to analyze problems and make well-reasoned.
    • Base knowledge of Telecommunication systems is mandatory. Exposure to Telecom Services (at least 5 years as PM).
    • Knowledge of multiple project management methodologies.
    • Experience in large or complex CBS/Video projects or environments, is preferred.

    Technical Director

    Job description

    Purpose of the position:

    To provide advising services for Global Telecom Operators in transformation approach, programs initiation and enterprise architecture governance.

    Responsibilties:

    • Work together with rollout project director to ensure network is delivered according to customer and contract requirements.
    • Support sales and marketing to develop, manage and execute network quality improvement strategies and bring in potential return sales opportunities.
    • Build, develop and manage internal and external technical teams and related capabilities.
    • Lead and manage C-level customer meeting, technical issues tracking, reporting and negotiations.
    • Manage technical support in case of major or critical problems that can’t be solved by customes according to SLA.
    • Establish Operation plan, milestones and deliverables.
    • Establish and manage Operation team structure and members.
    • Establish team management process and organization.
    • Plan, manage and execute Operation Projects' budget to ensure successful delivery.
    • Establish and standardize Operation delivery process.
    • Design, establish and manage cost effective, sustainable service delivery across all offerings
