    Premier Advisor-Gauteng

    Role Purpose:

    To proactively grow the balance sheet of a allocated customer, deliver exceptional experience and education to portfolio of clients on wealth creation, accumulation and overall protection tactics to increase vertical sales index (VSI) and drive client retention and entrenchment through using contextual Money Management principles

    Responsibilities:

    • Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
    • Conduct digital client reviews within the context of client engagements
    • Liaise with SMEs on complex products to provide appropriate product advise
    • Execute on opportunities to expand our customer base with creditworthy and potentially profitable customers
    • Provide appropriate banking and financial solutions across an allocated portfolio of clients
    • Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
    • Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and/or across the FRG
    • Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes
    • Creates solutions to meet customer demands to deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
    • Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
    • Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
    • Identify and utilise opportunities for revenue growth to deliver on sales targets

    Qualifications and Experience:

    •  Minimum Qualification - Relevant Qualification on accredited FSCA List, RE5
    •  Preferred Qualification - Relevant FAIS accredited degree, CFP, Fit and proper, experience in FAIS-relevant Money Manager Subcategories
    •  Experience - 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at a junior specialist level • Additional Knowledge - Core product knowledge and linked pricing
    •  Full understanding of money management principles
    • Sound working knowledge of required business-related systems
    • Sound working knowledge of Banking and Financial Services Regulatory requirements
    •  Non-complex Wealth management creation and accumulation knowledge
    • Non-complex protection or risk knowledge
    • Ability to plan and organize work independently
    • Proven track record in servicing a portfolio of clients and in acquisition of new relationships
    • Knowledge of global financial markets and current affairs
    • Ability to match client needs with appropriate product solutions
    • Sound knowledge of the Bank's risk and other mandates to ensure exercising good commercial judgment while representing the Bank's and the shareholders’ interests always

    Additional Requirements

    Preference will be given to applicants with the following:

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Financial Advisor;
    • Experience in Banking Sales and Service;
    • Qualification must be minimum NQF Level 5 – FSCA Recognized
    • RE05
    • Licensed and mandated for advice and intermediary services in respect of the following FAIS Categories: 1.3; 1.4, 1.5 and 1.14 (Must NOT be under supervision)
