    Team Leader: Technology

    Purpose Statement

    • To provide direction to and lead IT teams responsible for the full product lifecycle to ensure successful delivery of all product features, support and maintenance related tasks within the Capitec Bank Operations 
    • Oversee the ongoing drive to increase efficiency, optimisation, innovation and people development in these environments.

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • At least 5 years’ experience in software development management including experience in leading a technical team.
    • Experience in progressive database or software development roles

    Solutions Architect

    • We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join a product team at Capitec Bank the largest retail bank in South Africa.  At Capitec, we pride ourselves in having a tangible client-first culture that attracts 200,000 new clients every month.  As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for the success of a product at Capitec. You will have full autonomy over your application, acting as the apex technical leader for your product.  The scale and growth of the client base means that you get to solve complex problems at scale.
    • You will bring deep technical knowledge of at least one programming paradigm, preferably object-oriented or functional programming, and be comfortable working with languages like C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.  Additionally, you will have experience with both relational and non-relational databases, as well as AWS cloud skills.  You will have the opportunity to learn and work with domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and Kubernetes.  You will be a problem solver at heart, with the ability to think critically and creatively to find innovative solutions.

    Experience

    • 10+ years' experience in IT Delivery, including a minimum of 2+ years' experience in architecture
    • 4+ years' experience in solution design
    • 4+ years' experience as a Solutions Architect
    • Financial Services experience
    • Experience must be in designing end-to-end and full stack
    • End-to-end - able to design solution, which includes all components, ensuring that all end users are services correctly in production
    • Full stack - able to design for each component within the solution addressing the functional (application), non-functional (platform) and infrastructure and cloud services

    Qualifications / Certifications

    SAP Systems Analyst: HCM

    Purpose Statement

    • Interpret specifications to build SAP HCM systems solutions to support business processes, aligned with relevant internal and external governance
    • Design, develop and maintain automation and integration in SAP solutions in accordance with specific business requirements and IT drivers
    • Provide technical system support and liaise with system vendors to ensure timely resolution of escalated technical issues

    Experience

    • Understanding of business Human Capital Management processes

    5-7 years’ experience in SAP and Data Integration in the following areas:

    • SAP HCM (PA, PY, PD, OM, etc.)

    Account Executive-Franchising

    Purpose Statement

    • To provide a proactive business banking sales and service management function that will retain and grow a portfolio of business clients by identifying and implementing value adding and specialised business banking financial products solutions from a range of standard and/or customized offerings.

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • Banking experience of at least 5 years, of which 3 years should have been spent in the Business Banking environment.
    • Experience of managing a complex portfolio of business customers with a service and financial analysis focus.
