    Fishmeal Superintendent

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fishmeal Superintendent at I&J Concentra, Waterfront, Cape Town. The purpose of this role includes the overall control of the production, maintenance, stock control and personnel management. Required to assist with the overall support of the fishmeal factories on board the Freezer Vessels, ensuring all records kept up to date and compliance of export requirements are met. Ensure all freezer vessels fishmeal plants are in optimum condition in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), with regard to machinery, thereby getting maximum output in fishmeal plant from every vessel.

    Store Manager - Gateway

    Main Purpose:

    To manage a store so that the brand integrity and profitability are upheld, by ensuring our discerning customers are consistently delighted. 

    Line Manager: Regional Manager

    Subordinates: All Flexi timers and permanent staff within the store

    • To achieve the annual sales budget through meeting and exceeding daily and monthly budgets to ensure the sustainability of the business
    • To manage and control the financial aspects of running the store to ensure store profitability
    • To adhere to merchandising standards in line with the brand requirements to ensure good product mix

    Store Admin Manager - Lochlogan

    Main Purpose:

    To ensure the highest standards of customer service is delivered and sales turnover targets met through effective people management and enforcement of retail disciplines at store level. The successful individual will be responsible for the store administration function and will be an assistant to the Store Manager.

    Line Manager: Store Manager

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    Ensure adherence to policies and procedures as per the admin policy

    • Completion of daily, weekly and monthly admin checks, as per the admin check guideline and checklists
    • Perform daily tasks eg. declarations, prepare cash for banking and collection
    • Calls logged to rectify issues (stock, maintenance, cash etc)
    • Transfer of information contained in instruction letters (RIL, MIL, PCI, SMIL and Memo) and ensure adherence to instructions and adherence to deadlines

    Cash control

    • Adequate POS training and support is given to staff
    • Cash control and banking processes are followed daily
    • Cash variances are investigated, followed up on and cleared
    • Manual transactions are captured timeously once the store is back on line

    Stock Control

    • Adequate stock management training and support is given to staff
    • Stock management processes are followed daily
    • Stock variances are investigated, followed up on and cleared
    • Weekly and Quarterly stock counts and takes are prepared for and conducted accurately
    • Shoe pairing exercise is completed weekly
    • Write offs are controlled adequately

    National Training Manager

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas

    • Manage the identification of skills gaps and the development and implementation of training plans to address these gaps in terms of basic competencies to perform work
    • Evaluate and select accredited external services providers to partner with in improving artisan and technical operators skills and competence, where required
    • Oversee and manage the apprenticeship program, to ensure successful completion and integration of apprentices into the businesses.
    • Develop standards to ensure training meets the needs of the business units, including SOP’s and skills matrices
    • Co-ordinate with OEM’s to develop functional and equipment related training modules to improve specific competencies to improve plant performance.
    • Centrally co-ordinate and guide the site training efforts and provide functional coaching and support to site trainers and Technical Skills Facilitators.
    • Provide monthly reports on training activities and progress therein
    • Facilitate and manage the WSP/ATR process and ensure the April deadlines for WSP/ATR/PP are met. Also, track and audit the Skills Plans from the BU's.
    • Ensure BBBEE targets for skills development are communicated and met for BCD programmes per site
    • Engage with Group SDF with regards to discretionary grant window and ensure all supporting documents are complete for audit purposes

    Minimum Requirements:

    Experience                                                                    

    • 3 years Managing a factory training centre
    • 3 years Assessor experience
    • Training Manager/Specialist and Assessor of a training centre or in a similar environment supporting multiple manufacturing sites (Factories)

     Qualifications

    • Professional registration with QCTO
    • NQF Level 6 - OD-EDTP
    • Registered Skills Facilitator NAMB Assessor

     Additional Requirements

    • Oversee and manage the process of SOPs, Work Instructions and Training Manuals development
    • Develop and apply technical and manufacturing systems expertise
    • Understanding and compliance to SETA and NQF principles and processes
